Dean (6926 KP) rated Killing Eve - Season 3 in TV

Back for a 3rd series after another cliffhanger ending to the second series. This 3rd outing feels a little different. It's not quite as funny overall as the other series, not quite as witty. Still with some funny scenes but not quite as dramatic as the first 2 series. The overall plot doesn't have the same feel either. However it's still an entertaining series with plenty to enjoy. Just not quite hitting the highs of the first 2 series.

This is the first book in the series. This author has a fantastic ability to grab you and keep you reading long into the night. This book has fantastic characters that you will love from the first page. This is a fantastic fighter story which you wont want to put down till you have finished. This book has a cliffhanger ending so be warned have book 2 at the ready. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

David McK (3425 KP) rated The Gods of Mars (Barsoom #2) in Books
Jan 28, 2019
The sequel to A Princess of Mars, The Gods of Mars again is presented as Edgar Rice Burroughs retelling the story of a relation of his. Again, this novel starts on Earth before moving to Mars proper and fleshing out the world first shown in the earlier book.
It is also, quite clearly, a product of it's time both in it's vision of Barsoom (or Mars), and in the culture of the various races upon (and underneath) the planet, and also ends - rather abruptly, I felt - in a cliffhanger of an ending.

Calling all passengers for flight 828
A decent follow up series carrying on from the cliffhanger ending of the first. It's all very much the same as the first but with a new threat and more info revealed about flight 828. Though one major plot line also goes missing for about 5 episodes which was odd. Sadly it does start to drag a bit near the middle episodes before a stronger finish to the series. There will be a 3rd series but I'm not sure I'm going to check it out.

amazing
holy hell yall... OMG this was amazing.. the blurb came and got me to begin with but then im like.. hmm.. this sounds dark and interesting and oh man.. it was semi dark. my only complaint is the author could have gone a tad bit darker but honestly the way she writes it is so amazing i didn't even care lol. it was sexy.. i freakin loved the characters.. and i am really really hoping that there might be more.. the ending left it off as there could be another one coming.. its not a cliffhanger exactly but it is a bit of a "huh.. what will happen" lol. it was aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing! and i loved loved loved it

WOW, I didn't see that coming!? Yet another incredible book from Aleatha and completely different from anything she has done before! I truly had no idea where this story was going and just when I think I did, she twists the story yet again... Sara wakes up remembering nothing, in a world she has no recollection of and a husband who is determined to bring her back into "The Light". So many crazy twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out where the story heads next... and after that killer cliffhanger ending, I'm sure we're all DYING to get our hands on the next book!? HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended read!!
David McK (3425 KP) rated Back to the Future Part II (1989) in Movies

Great Scott!
Mid part of the Back to the Future trilogy, in which Marty McFly experiences and travels to three distinct era's: the far-flung future of 2015(!)(I'm writing this in December 2020 - I want my hoverboard, dammit!), an alternate dystopian (from his and Boc Browns point of view) 1985 and finally back to 1955 as the point of divergence to (re)witness the events of the first movie.
With a cliffhanger ending, this film should really be considered the first part of a longer movie: indeed, I believe that was the original intention before the studios balked at the sheer running length of merging the events of Part II and the (Western) Part III into one!

Was always going to be impossible being the next film up after endgame and though this one had one or two minor issues it's still another excellent entry into the MCU.
Some good action scenes, excellent performances by Tom Holland and Jon Favreau made this better than homecoming, though mysterio wasnt up to much as the bad guy with all his tech illusions.
It's a shame that the cliffhanger ending in the first post credits scene wont be fully explored as spiderman is no longer in the MCU.Hopefully Sony will keep up the quality in future movies and it will be interesting to see if spiderman goes up against venom or morbius.

Sheila Pinelli is back in Cole's life, and he wants to find her and make sure that she can't hurt anyone ever again. Due to a mistake, she is released without the officer knowing that she should have been detained. This takes Cole on a journey to find her and also draws him into finding some missing women as well. Claudia comes back to work too, and I love her wisdom and style!
Ending on a cliffhanger regarding Bobby, this is a well-written and fast-paced addition to the Cole McGinnis series. Definitely recommended.
* I received this book from the author in return for a fair and honest review. *

Lee (2222 KP) rated Final Space Season One in TV
Aug 18, 2018
An epic comedy space drama
Final Space flashed up a few times for me as a recommended show on Netflix. As the trailer automatically played, it came across as some kind of Futurama/Rick and Morty wannabee, with annoying characters. So I ignored it, until one day I just decided to give it a go. And, it was slightly annoying for a while. But, it was also slightly funny at times too, and I remember feeling a bit like that about the first episode of Rick and Morty, so I stuck with it a little bit longer. I'm so glad I did.
Final Space is a sprawling, epic space adventure. Set across 10 episodes, each one continuing the story, starting with a teaser of the final episode, and ending with a cliffhanger. Huge space battles, tonnes of action, drama, sadness, and even some romance. There's an evil bad guy, plenty of hilarious characters, and a cute little planet destroying alien, who now has his own plush toy (added to my Christmas list...). And it all builds to ask incredible, tension filled finale with an even bigger cliffhanger. I freakin loved this show...
