Miller’s Mid-Century Modern: Living with Mid-Century Modern Design is a collection of photos of modern designs of yesteryear, collated by Judith Miller.
This large, hardcover book is sets out to share with you the best styles of interior, and furniture design history from the 1940s to the 1970s. Included within are also selective pieces of ceramics, glass, metalware and textiles .
It’s a beauty of a book, and alongside being an arty one full of great designers and their precious designs, I think the most interesting part of this, (that many people will be buying this for) are the price codes to see how much everything is worth – should they have one of these (sometimes extravagant) items in their own collections. Although, this is not a Millers Antique guide and more of a coffee table book with lots of large pictures. Plus, many of these pieces featured are way out of most people’s budget. Well, in my circles, anyway!
Having said this if you love interior design, famous designers and do like collecting antique furniture and bits and bobs, this will make a lovely edition to your coffee table book collection.

there are little adjustments to the courses with rails, launchers, pop up blockers and other things like that.
wind is always changing and shifting.
upgrades to the clubs don't seem to have any effect (the math isn't obvious) (1 more)
constant begging for money with paid upgrades are a bit more than usual
My new current favorite game app.
I tend to go thru a game a month, I jump on play semi constantly, and then hit a wall, get bored and move on to something else, rarely does a game stay on my phone longer than 2 months. This one I really like so far, it's been about 2 weeks... it feels a little like playing poker, in that you both pay the ente and then the winner takes the pot.... also the best player doesn't always win, there is enough luck going on that you can take a great shot that goes sideways, or a bad shot that ends up better than it should... but for the most part skill wins. it's a good solid game.

Great classic jrpg
Top down jrpg made by Camelot and Nintendo for the Nintendo game boy, a well crafted story separated into two games. In the first you play as Isaac a venue adapt from the town of vale located at the foot of mt aleph. Game play for the first half hour to an hour depending on how you play can be seen as slow but helps set up the story of some key characters, some of which don't get payoffs until the events of the second game, a well thought out and crafted story with plenty to do including collecting all 28 elemental djiin which have the ability to change your magic in battle and on the overworld. Experience some top quality puzzles and fight some interesting monsters, accompanied by a high quality sound track made by motoi sakuraba more well known for his musical work on dark souls and the tales series of games.
This game pushes the limits of the game boy advance along with its sequel the lost age which as the way the story is paced and set up you need to play the second to get the full story

Sink or swim?
Considering my Y childhood holidays spent by the water, I've never been more anxious at the sight of rising water levels. A fully cooperative experience, all players, new and experienced, took part in an adventure fit for all. Fighting to get to the chopper we found ourselves facing an ever changing table top with tiles sinking faster than we were able to get to them. As you move around the board collecting treasures, you face difficult challenges of whether to move yourself or to use your special abilities to better position your comrades. A gem of a game, the variety of characters provide a strong amount of replay ability, ideal for a game that provides an air of impending doom telling you that all you can do now is it to start planning for the next attempt.
Whether you play it for the theme of an intrepid explorer searching an unknown island, or you are looking for an excellent family friendly cooperative experience (allowed by the ability to simply and effectively vary difficulty levels) this is a game for boardgamers of all shapes and sizes.

Strategic Unique Deck Building Game
Very interesting deckbuilding game. This game ventures away a little bit from traditional deckbuilding games. Available cards to purchase are arranged in a pyramid with only being able to purchase from the bottom row only. Making purchases from the bottom of the pyramid allow cards from the top of the pyramid to fall to the bottom of the pyramid for purchasing. Certain cards can change the rules as many games do, such as purchasing cards any where on the pyramid.
Entombing is a new feature to this genre of games that really sets this deckbuilder apart from the rest. Entombing is actually set collecting within this deckbuilder. To entomb a card you simply put it aside in a pile to no longer use for the rest of the game. By entombing a card you can not use it's value for purchasing or it's special actions.
End game is based on how many cards you have entombed. The more sets you collect the more vp you score.
This game works best with 2-3 in my opinion, however this one of my favorite go to solo games.
