"William Klein, an expat photographer, looks at what drives the USA, a cocky hubris. Delirious colors and comic realities of the American way. Serge Gainsbourg music! A riotous pop art telling of the George W. Bush era long before it came to be"

"When Godard stopped the music on the soundtrack as the scene continued, I learned about editing, and when he put colors on-screen, I learned about creating images. If we can ball up the intellectual with the emotional, we can stir people."

Beautiful cinematography (0 more)
I really enjoyed this movie, both story-wise and scenery-wise.
Colors popped when they needed to be seen and Poirot's mustache stole every scene it was in.
Just sit back and let the story, and mystery, unfold in front of you.

Refreshing read
The plot was very interesting. I love the way that the author was constantly using colors to help convey the emotions, which really helped the reader envision he scenes. There was danger, intrigue, and even a bit of romance.

"“War Music,” a collection of Logue’s poetic "account" of the “Iliad,” has some real goosebump moments. Logue didn't know Greek and unlike Homer, he's not really interested in people or feelings; but he is brilliant at evoking colors, movement, and the awe-inspiring apparition of the divine."

"I dove into the middle of it instead of starting at the beginning. I came across a lot of beautiful poetry of the whiteness of the whale and the colors of nightmares and the great spirit’s spout…I turned back to the start: ‘Call me Ishmael,’ and I was in love!"

"Fassbinder was an incredible filmmaker and made at least one of my all-time favorites. Brigitte Mira is so moving as the woman who is not doing what society says she is supposed to. The colors are amazing in this film as well. I also love the music by Peer Raben."

Murakami's Prose
There's a section of the book that talks a lot about trains and railroads, and it gets very technical to the point of losing the reader along the way if they're not familiar with the trade. (0 more)

"I think Pinocchio is Disney’s masterpiece, and I think that it’s such a perfectly put-together film. It has such a beautiful message in it, and so much thought went into it, and of course it’s beautifully drawn, and the colors are extraordinary, and I love Monstro, and the underwater sequences are quite something."
