Rod is the best character by far (0 more)

The plot is a little obvious from the outset (0 more)

Terrifying political racial horror

As a woman of colour this is probably the most terrifying kind of horror to watch. It's political message is stark, and it's almost a satire of American society. The last scene of the main character's hands up is a grim look on reality where an US police officer is more likely to believe the white woman than the black man. Rod is by far the best character!

Inside out...

With beautiful illustrations and interesting subject matter, this book is a win-win with curious children. and although it is quite short, it fills a child with wonder and lets them take in what they want before progressing to more challenging reading material. The urine colour section will amuse children young and old, toilet humour at its best.
I am reviewing this book for Luann Columbo, Quarto Publishing, and NetGalley who gave me a copy of their book for an honest review.

Clare Parrott (294 KP) rated Crochet Workshop in Books

Not for me, I love colour, it's what sells the book to me first and foremost. Its what draws me in and makes me have a closer look. This is bland and boring. Black and white photos, black and white diagrams, black and white text...boring. It would be quite at home in the 60's
Now don't get me wrong if your a beginner or and expert crocheter like myself you will find this book a fountain of knowledge you just won't find it on my shelf in the craft room

Colour Me Amused

Serial killers, psychos, and two friends from Utah who talk about true crime while using dark humour and foul language. They also tell true stories sent in by listeners and advocate for victims of domestic abuse in all forms.
The full episodes these days are interspersed with minisodes (Sosodes) that include bloopers, squirrel hunts, random tangents, and additional hilarity.
If you have tender sensibilities, definitely do not listen. Otherwise, get ready to have your feelings f***ed, and stay out of chalklines!
