Thor: God of lightning
Theres good comic book movies, theres bad comic book movies and then theres Thor.
Chris Hemsworth stars as Thor, marvels answer to Gladiator.
When a truce is broken and Thor's home comes under threat by long time enemies, he ignores the command of his Father Oden and declares war. Because of this he is stripped of his position and banished to Earth. Found by jane, an astrophysicist, he must earn his powers back, stop his untrustworthy adopted brother Loki (Tom hiddleston) and save 2 Realms from total destruction. Thor is a fun film for everyone.

Mark @ Carstairs Considers (2273 KP) rated Pipsqueak in Books

When Garth Carson finds a squirrel puppet from a favorite childhood show, he thinks he's found a nostalgic goldmine. Instead, he soon finds a body and a conspiracy that seems too hard to believe. In fact, that was one problem I had with the book, I just couldn't believe it. The characters were also too thin. And the "comic" part of the comic caper? Not really that funny. I did find the climax over the top yet fun, however.

Nicole Hadley (380 KP) rated Nickelodeon Pandemonium #1 in Books
Jun 18, 2018
Nickelodeon Pandemonium #1 by Eric Esquivel, Stefan Petrucha is a quirky comic that early teen readers will enjoy. This book was a quick and easy read. The book is full of puns, jokes, silliness and action. In this book the reader is given 12 different comics. Before the comic this is a short biography interview of some of the authors and illustrators. This book will be entertaining to readers to like comedy and graphic novels.
I give this book 4/5 stars.
I received this book from Papercutz via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book is hilarious! The illustrations are quirky and fun. I have seen some of these comic strips around facebook but I'm glad they're all in a little tiny book for me to enjoy. I personally loved all of the bookworm comic stips & the introvert ones too.
I think this book deals with some issues that many of us "adults" have. It was done in a fun, quirky, and hilarious way. If you're looking for something to relate to, this is it! Seriously, you won't be disappointed.

Erika (17789 KP) rated Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - Part One in TV
Oct 29, 2018
I was thrilled when Netflix picked up the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, I really liked the horror comic, the original comics, and the goofy 90s/00s television show.
This show was sufficiently creepy, and provided me with straight nightmare fuel, as I found out last night. Sabrina was very much the same character as she has been all along, a teenager that makes slightly questionable decisions while trying to do the right thing.
The opening titles comprised of the original art from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina graphic novel, as well as her first intro panel in the original Sabrina comic.
