As I've still not read the comic book the show is based on I will soon still liking the show just watched episode 10 of season 2 and still hooked to see where the Runaways go next in their fight with there parents. Nice to see Julian MacMahons character getting more backstory as we find out his connection to pride and to Karolina bring on season 3 want to know more and where they go next also got to mention old lace the dinosaur the real star of the show

This film does exactly as it sets out to do. It's a pure over the top adrenalin rush almost from start to finish. Babes, bullets, blood, bad-ass characters and a Dodge charger. Think Crank meets Shoot 'em up with an almost comic book setting. I really enjoyed and found it an action packed film, that's tongue firmly in cheek. Add a cool car and the sexy Amber Heard and you get good popcorn entertainment, would have liked to have seen it in 3D! If you like wild wacky films that are just fun to watch check this out!

Funny when I was a kid
The story of two best buds who like to make practical jokes and write a comic book about their principal which they named him captain underpants. The end up hypnotizing their principal into believing he is this rather dumb superhero. He can be un hypnotized by getting hit with water or put back in hypnotized for by one of the two boys snapping their fingers. The reason they want to keep him in this hypnotized form is so that they dont get split up at school cause together they just make trouble.

A brilliant film and great ending....for now at least to this trilogy. Dark, gritty and brutal it doesn't feel like a comic book action hero film. It's more a harsh crime thriller! I thought Anne Hathaway was well cast as Catwoman as is Tom Hardy as Bane. The only problem I had was understanding everything Bane said through his face mask, at times the voice doesn't seem to match the villain? Only small minor gripes though, still I have to add The Dark Knight is still my favourite of the 3 with this a close second.

Robin!
The first time I saw Dead Poets society in the theatre I was unbelievably amazed at the acting range of Robin Williams. Everyone knew of his impeccable comic timing which is showcased in the film; however, his dramatic performance was jaw-dropping.

He had done dramatic work before, but something about this film brought it all together. The classmates were also very good led by House star Robert Sean Leonard and Ethan Hawke.

The ending left me weeping for days and is one of the most emotional movie endings ever.

Not to be missed.

You don't know what you got til it's gone
At the time the city finally turned off the lights it was starting to feel a bit dated. But there was supposedly plans for a coh2... Unfortunatley ncsoft in the head chose not to continue down this path and pulled the plug. Seriously one of the best character creation tools I've seen in a game. Many of the missions played like a comic. And it didnt matter what server you played on. The community was awesome. Cheers to cryptic

I received this book from Netgalley and I'm so happy that I did.

This book was so relatable and adorable at the same time. I think everyone will be able to get something from this collection of comics. The artwork is cute and the comic strips are great. We all have those moments in life that our heart and brain do not cooperate. This book shows those moments.

This book will have you bookmarking pages that you know describe you. If you're on the fence, just get it. You're heart and brain will thank you for it!

Not up to the high standard we’ve come to enjoy from Marvel shows
Hit&miss

Okay so they avoided the fact that Cloak & Dagger got powers from bad drugs... shame as it would’ve finally left the door open for Sentry.
The story itself wasn’t that bad. Quite a few good twists, a couple of bad guys you’ll love to hate (not quite to Joffery’s level).
Just didn’t have the same kick as Netflix gives its Marvel series... that said, I did enjoy it...

Creepshow (1982)
Creepshow (1982)

I probably like this movie more than the people who made it!
"Father's Day" ...
"The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill" ...
"Something to Tide You Over" ...
"The Crate" ...
"They're Creeping Up on You" ...

The Crate is definitely my favorite, but all 5 segments are good in their own way. I love the use of color, the changing of color and the way George Romero made the film look and feel like the horror comic it is based on.

The campy feel is part of the fun, but the film still has some gory and chilling moments.

Comic fantasy that reminded me slightly of the great Terry Pratchett (writen in that vein), but not quite as good as his.

Set in an alternative medieval period, in the reign of Uther Pendragon (who is one of the characters in the book): in this case, Uther (and not Arthur) is the 'Once and Future King'. Unfortunately, the book also states that the author is working on a sequel: if he did, I never saw any sign of it in any of the bookshops, with the ending of this book leaving plenty (too much?) open to be included in that sequel.
