Interesting insights and analysis
Magical self autobiographical history of the superhero.
If you're a fan of Grant Morrison'writing or just interested in the history of superheroes then this is a fascinating read. Be warned it gets into some pretty weird territory in terms of the autobiographical side of things, delving into the world of psychedelic chaos magic - take it with a pinch of salt if you will, or dismiss it as the writings of a deranged mad man, but you can't dismiss Morrison's influence on the comic book scene (he's definitely one of the triumvirate of superstars, along side Alan Moore and Neil Gaimen, whose work deserves much more credit than he gets in the mainstream imo) - it's really interesting to know the headspace he was in when coming up with a lot of his ground breaking ideas. Interesting for anyone interested in the creative process.

Fun for readers
Goodreads has pretty much revolutionized my reading life. I use it to review books and check out reviews, but more than anything it's a place where I am able to engage the comic book community. Most of my read and reviewed books are single issue comic books. There are very few places for readers to review those in such a large setting so I enjoy it.
For the most part they even have all the titles there, even if I'm the first one to interact with it. There has only been two times when they have not had the book I had read uploaded.
I enjoy the social media aspect of it too. A number of my friends are on it and it starts up lots of conversation and helps us recommend books to each other. It's also very friendly and easy to use.

Excellent comic book show

I absolutely loved this show even though I was sceptical about the cast at first. It was dark, funny and the fight scenes are brutal. I can't wait for the next series.
My only issue was the final episode didn't really push the story on. It was like the writers came up with the cliff hanger and then had to rush to make up the rest of the episode.
