Death Note
Having never seen anything about Death Note gives me a special ability to actually rate the movie and not berate it because it didn't follow the comic books. Even the comic creator liked the take. I enjoyed most of the movie and glad they chose Netflix to air it. The ending quite surprised me, and movies these days pretty much are easy to figure out. Comic book fans clearly don't like It, But at least enjoyable to the rest of us.

These are my go to "I need a laugh right now" books. I have yet to be disappointed. Where Bennett and Gardner come up with their wild characters and scenarios is beyond me. They are comic geniuses! I really can not recommend them enough.

This book is a quick must-read for anyone that's in love with books! Not every comic was spot-on, but they were pretty close! (Others were like looking in a mirror.) The comics are hilarious and true for those of us that love to read. I actually laughed out loud when I came to the one about places I keep my books. That's right, I laughed, right next to my little stack of books on the couch!

Not too much dwelling on back story
As with the other series on Netflix (more notably Jesse Jones), I felt this series was a little dragged out to the agreed 13 episodes.
The story is good with Luke playing the underdog well, and the different setting of Harlem worked well.
My favourite moment was in the flashback after Luke escaped from Seagate prison and ended up dressed like the 70s comic equivalent for a brief moment
