WOW, I didn't see that coming!? Yet another incredible book from Aleatha and completely different from anything she has done before! I truly had no idea where this story was going and just when I think I did, she twists the story yet again... Sara wakes up remembering nothing, in a world she has no recollection of and a husband who is determined to bring her back into "The Light". So many crazy twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat, trying to figure out where the story heads next... and after that killer cliffhanger ending, I'm sure we're all DYING to get our hands on the next book!? HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended read!!

Okay so I think I get why people don't vibe with this book but honestly, I LOVED IT! I wrote my dissertation on CRISPR and the way that Specters work is super similar so I guess that aspect of it appealed to me. I hate Brighton but I love love love Ness but I feel like that just says a lot about me as a person. The one downfall for me was that a lot of the characters all kind of blended together and I struggled to work out who was who and who was doing what but all in all I need book two because that ending??? FRICKKKKKKK (I saw something of the sort coming, but still)

Very short story (1 more)
It's very similar to the previous animated films
A big disappointment
I was really looking forward to this when I saw Netflix had a Resident Evil anime series coming out. It's such a shame though and a missed opportunity. Only 4 episodes long and around 22 minutes each episode. You have no real idea where this fits in timeline wise with the games, anywhere after the 2nd game basically. The storyline feels very similar to one of the extended anime films of Resident Evil, so not that original either. The animation is OK, close up scenes have a lot of detail. Other times it just looks like cut scenes from the games. Really hoped for better.
