Decent Horror
An ok Horror based on a short Stephen King story. Definitely has the hallmarks of a Stephen King creation. Very atmospheric in the first half, creepy while playing on the fear of those dark spaces when the lights are out. The creature, when you finally see it, does look scary. Although I think most will spot early on some clues as to how it will pan out. A few too many jump scares as well, most of which you can see coming. Still an enjoyable film overall.

I must admit this was a long time coming and life just got in the way and when I read his first book, I just didn't like it, it wasn't my ting but Matt sent me icky pucket and my views on his writing skills have greatly improved. His writing style for me was cleaner, less confusing and his characters were well though out and interesting. Well done Matt.....sorry it took me so long !!

This book had me laughing out loud. Not something I do alot and I think it scared my wife a bit. It had a unique cast of characters and was definately a lighter read. They are the lesbian Carl Hiassen. No one can be serious all the time( said with R.B.F. in place) The action kept coming and the twists were hilarious. I think this would make an awesome stage play, just sayin'.

Archer does a great job of making being a nerd cool. She is a master of creating a sweet love story between girls you would think would be total social opposites. This book, like others I have read by Archer, is YA/teen friendly so it can be suggested to those young girls just coming out. In fact both main characters deal with questions about their sexuality throughout most of the book.
