I am a huge fan of dry humor and coming of age stories. This movie was a nice surprise, and without too many spoiler trailers out there, I was really not expecting anything. The movie had a great flow, and the interaction between mother and daughter was so real and emotional. The only complaint I have is that the movie was so abruptly ended. I enjoy leaving it open-ended for the imagination, but I feel like the last 15 minutes completely changed the flow of the movie and lead us to believe there was going to be one more reveal that never happens. I didn't need a complete summary, but I did want to know just a little bit more.
A book written to attempt to address disability and the exclusion of wheelchair users but feels more of a slap in the face rather than supportive in its tone. Firstly, Where am I coming from with this statement. I have grown up around wheelchair users and those with a wide range of disabilities, both physical, mental and learning. The choice of an outdated invalid chair rather than a modern, brightly coloured sports chair was the first thing that jumped out at me, and possibly someone without my close association with this area would think this my first overreaction, however, when this book is aimed at inclusion, this image is not in line with that thought. Overall, I would not recommend this book.

Everything One Could Have Hoped For
This is what I would consider the pinnacle of superhero films. It answered to all the hype that came the moment people heard the movie was coming out. I remember discussing going to see it months before the release and this film did not disappoint. From the gorgeous scenes matched with the epic soundtrack this movie met every single thing I could wish for. The growth of the characters throughout the film was perfectly executed and the acting was perfected from the start. Everything was amazing, I can only say that it ended too soon and left the audience wanting more, I look forward to seeing what comes next.

LitRPG done right, with an interesting twist
LitRPG is a hard genre to break out into. That being said, Travis Bagwell has done an EXCELLENT job creating believable characters in a fascinating world. Personally, I felt that this was a great twist on the usual LitRPG--because the main character, Jason, discovers that villains aren't all what they seem.
Awaken Online is a brand new VR game that's just hit the market, one with an unusual premise... You're not the hero. You're not the Chosen One. You're a nobody, starting from the ground up. There are no bad guys, and no princesses need to be saved... Just you and your choices.
An outstanding read, and that's coming from someone who reads every day!

David Cronenberg tackles Stephen King
After a nearly fatal car crash which send him into a coma for 5 years, former teacher Christopher Walken must try and rebuild his life while dealing with the discovery of his new "power" to see into the someone's future just by touching their hand.
His assists several townspeople before running into power-hungry politician Martin Sheen.
Early film from director David Cronenberg still holds up as a decent thriller. The "visions" are interesting as always people are not what they seem on the surface. Intriguing developments keep you entertained the entire time as you watch to see how things play out.
You are definitely hoping certain characters get what's coming to them.

As good as expected
After growing up on the original trilogy, I was looking forward to returning to the franchise. Coming out of the film I found it a fun filled adventure back into the world of the Men in Black.
However after rewatching the original trilogy I found that the film didn't have the same weirdness that the originals had. I remember watching the first and being terrified (even for being a PG film) where as this new iteration focused more or the comedy between Hemsworth and Thompson than the aliens that made the originals so interesting.
Overall it was a fun filled film that would be worth a watch.
