"I don’t know if there’s a stronger influence on my writing, both fiction and nonfiction, than Lorrie Moore. For a certain demographic of female writer, that’s a common sentiment. This sounds ludicrous, but just thinking of the table of contents makes me happy."

Josh Clark and Charles (Chuck) Bryant are the very charming co-hosts for a very informative Podcast. They wander off on little tantrums that I find rather endearing. Stuff you should know covers a multitude of topics, common and not so common. My favorite episodes are the Halloween story time they have. I also really enjoyed the How a Flea Circus Works and The Future of Renewable Energy where they did a rare interview (which I usually hate with a passion) with Bill Gates. If random knowledge is something you love to have and share this is a podcast for you.

It was entertaining, and it had enough scares and tension beyond the common jump-scare that it wasn’t a total failure, but if you want to see a good horror film, this isn’t it.

"This is probably the most influential film on Mark’s and my work. Deeply passionate, hilarious and inspired filmmaker Mark Borchardt battles to finish his horror flick despite a lack money and common sense. What transpires is heartbreaking, hilarious and at the same time incredibly inspiring."

"Comedy boils the global stew down to our common humanity, making difference attractive rather than frightening. I like that Kaurismäki can engage with heavy contemporary problems in a gently humorous way. And he has always managed to show working class characters as full individuals."

This is a film which I love to watch over and over. It deals with 5 teenagers finding out what they have in common with the others if anything and how to deal with things which put them into detention in the first place on a Saturday. Quite funny.

I don't remember if someone mentioned this; however, when I want to tag a user in post I use the @ and it says to type at least 3 characters. Can that be filtered somehow? I couldn't find the person since their name was common to movies, music, etc.

A great little enchanting, magical film with some great characters and creatures in it. The kids all act very well and it's good the film is set in modern times with typical everyday kids in a common situation. If you're under 16 this would probably get 5 stars, but it's enjoyable for big kids too.
