BookwormLea (3034 KP) rated 42nd Street in Theatre Royal, Drury Lane (London, United Kingdom) in Shows
Jul 20, 2020
When I read the title on here I actually sang out loud! 42ND STREET!!!!!!! So good..... I went to see it a couple years ago in Drury Lane and at that time Julian Marsh the producer was played by Tom Lister who I remembered from Emmerdale. He was fab! Who knew he could sing so well! And Dorothy is played by Bonnie Langford which is fantastic! Its a really lovely play about an aspiring tap dancer who makes her dreams come true! And the songs, oh they were so catchy and fantastic! Real standing ovation worthy!

TravelersWife4Life (31 KP) rated Marisol: Spanish Rose (Charleston Brides #1) in Books
Feb 23, 2021
This story was such a unique combination of different cultures and historical facts.
Elva Cobb Martin wrote a story that combines rich Spanish history, travel on the high seas (PIRATES!), the American indentured, murder, romance and God’s will in our lives. The main characters Ethan and Marisol had interesting backstories that made them stronger. They were a cute couple to get to know, although at first, I was not sure where Elva Cobb Martin was taking them. By then end of the book I genuinely liked the characters and felt happy with the conclusion to the story

TravelersWife4Life (31 KP) rated Immigrant Brides in Books

A great collection of stories !
There is something for everyone in this collection of immigrant brides, Irish, Cajun, British, Spanish... This was awesome learning some things I didn't know before. Plus I found a couple authors that I had not read before. I would definitely recommend putting this on your summer TBR pile. It is a great read to take you lots of places and times without ever having to leave your front door.

What can I say but Yummmmmmm
The beer battered Zucchini tacos are probably my favorite, but then I haven't tried over half the book yet, so who know that could change. I loved how easy theses recipes were to follow and that they came out looking like the book. It was a very easy step by step process and I have already recommended the book to a couple of friends ... plus bought the book for my self.
