Russ Troutt (291 KP) rated Take Me (2017) in Movies

You can take me at my word as I've not been kidnapped by Pat Healy and forced to say this, I'm writing this under my own free will, that Take Me is highly entertaining and is a fun ride of a movie. I'm talking a tied up in the back of a van with no seatbelt or stuffed in a trunk and taken up a mountain road kind of fun ride. Pat Healy is one of the best actors out there right now in my opinion, and I highly suggest you let him take you for a couple of hours with his feature directorial debut Take Me.
Not quite but alright
Some people are giving it hell because of a couple of punctuation and grammar mistakes, big deal. My five comes from the shortness and quality of writing compared to others of the same price. However despite that this is still money well spent. You will probably, like me, sit and read this in one sitting. It is short true stories told by police with no frills, just the facts or what they see as the facts. It's a complete thrill ride which will shock you and make you think. Let's hope he brings out another.
Becs (244 KP) rated Death of a Salesman: Certain Private Conversations in Two Acts and A Requiem in Books
Jan 2, 2020
Death of a Salesman is a riveting story that will grab your emotions and pull at your heartstrings. The plot is a rollercoaster of events. At first, I was confused with the Ben character but towards the end of the play, I was finally able to understand each issue that took place with each character. Understanding the pain that Willy was going through. Understanding the issues Biff has with stealing from jobs. Understanding Happy's need to sleep around. Bringing to light the issue of a salesman's career and how the job market was going downhill. Death of a Salesman is worth a read or a couple of rereads!

A nice coming of age film
Contains spoilers, click to show
An Australian film based in a large department store, mainly the ladies department and the staff who work there. The main story is about a sixteen year old girl who has got a Christmas job working there (mind you it is strange because the film is based around Christmas and yet it is not, they are all on the beach and they keep calling it summer. Anyway back to the film the main character is a 16 year old girl who blossoms throughout the film from help from other members of staff. Enjoyable and a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours.
Toni Lynn Donald (2027 KP) rated Freaks (2018) in Movies
Apr 19, 2020 (Updated Apr 19, 2020)
It is about a little girl who is not allowed to go outside, it's dangerous out there. You're wondering through half the movie, why can't she go outside cause everything seems normal out there. Without giving away anything, she does end up getting outside without her father seeing her and you learn what's actually going on. It is better than how I described it, but I didn't want to give it away. There are a couple of bloody parts in it too. It really was a good movie when you finally figured out what's going on.
