This book was great! It was a satisfying ending to the series, despite the fact that it did leave things open to being picked up in the future. (Maybe he'll do something like he did with Percy Jackson & then Heroes of Olympus?!?) Again Sadie & Carter are such likable, believable, well-developed characters. The things they go through are extraordinary without a doubt, but they are so easy to identify with...which I'm sure helps with the appeal of the series to younger readers. But just because that is the target audience, doesn't mean an adult won't enjoy it.
The book is full of history, love, battles, & courage that it is very easy to get wrapped up in.

This adorable tale of adventure introduces children to a maple bacon bush and how in the land of fairies anything is possible. I find the tale quite entertaining with bouts of laughter and fun. Hoppe and Pen get themselves to quite a bit of trouble and thank goodness they have good friends. This is a wonderful tale of fantasy and adventure for all ages to include kids as young as 8. This book is only 54 pages long but Vivan Shade has a wonderful storyline along with Rosemarie Gillen illustrations it leads you on a tale that will develop into quite an adventure with the continuing tales.

Screenplay is sort of admirable for crossword-setter-like ability to crowbar in as many Abba songs as possible, no matter how tenuous their connection to the plot; cast hurl themselves into the spirit of proceedings with considerable courage. You do come away reminded of what brilliant songwriters Benny and Bjorn are; actual movie is more reminiscent of arriving late at office party and finding everyone else is much more drunk than you. Long-threatened sequel arrives this year; fingers crossed they find a way to include 'The Day Before You Came' and 'Dum Dum Diddle'.
The book was extremely well written and researched. When reading you get a glimpse of what life was like at the time, and how Katharina and Martin called on their faith and each other to share their progressive thoughts.
This is a very intimate view of someone who hundreds of years later is a household name. It presents Martin Luther as very human, with doubts and fears, but with courage and the support of a loving relationship, gave Christians another way to live in faith.
I received this advanced reader's copy from Baker Books via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
