Pretty impressive debut album by Cream, not too damaged by Clapton's input.

Is It Warm Enough for Ice Cream?

Is it Warm Enough for Ice Cream? by DK is a simple book about seasons. It asks each season if it is warm enough to eat ice cream. It is a quick and simple read for early learners. It reviewed the seasons and if each one was the right time for Ice cream. In each season the story gave ideas for what happens during that time and what activities you could do in that type of weather.

Each page describes a season of the year. Toddlers will learn about different items that show up in the season highlighted. Finally, it’s warm enough for ice cream and the colors pop even more than on the previous pages.

This book made me want to create a list of things to achieve for each season- like Ice Skating, wandering through the woods, looking for hiding animals, flying kites, and definitely eating ice cream.

I received an ARC from DK Children via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I give this book 4/5 stars.

I can honestly say the true crime reader won't be disappointed with this gripping account of the life and times of Dr.Thomas Neill Cream the Lambeth poisoner. The book is well researched and well written and I highly recommend you read it.

Spolier alert

A.J's book proves with little room for doubt that Dr.Thomas Neill Cream was not and could not have been Jack the Ripper. The book is made even more appealing my the way the author has chosen to write the book. She has given the book a unique perceptive by allowing Dr Cream to tell the reader his story from his point of view you. So if you haven't already, read the book and allow Dr Cream to take you on journey through his life that ultimately ends on the steps of the gallows.

Good 70s rock album from Bob Dylan's sometime backing band. A very Cream/Eagles feel to this album.

Great Cream album, just managing to bridge the gap between guitar solo and over-elaborate noodling. Sunshine of Your Love is a superb song.

"As a bass player and singer I liked Jack Bruce’s style. And then there was Clapton. Sometimes it was hard to tell who was singing what song, but this really influential on a generation of musicians, as was Jimi Hendrix – but I discovered Cream slightly before Hendrix. I liked both sides of Cream – the jamming and the songs – and Paul and l used to play music like that with jamming and long solos. I lost interest in Clapton after Cream, because I liked him best when he was playing through 1000 watts. I do like songs like ‘Layla’, because I’m a songwriter, but I didn’t follow him when he returned specifically to playing the blues. For that I preferred Gary Moore."

Although it was a good story the constant reminder that the men were 'Green Berets', like nearly every chapter, was tiresome and annoying. Also the word 'cream' in the sex scenes is just yuk!

I went into this movie thinking I was going to be grossed-out or annoyed or wouldn't get any of the jokes.
However, I was pleasantly (re: hilariously) surprised.
My favorite scene was the bear in the ice cream truck.
