Two strangers are lurking around town, and no one can quite figure out who they are or what they want. Then one of them is killed in the local ice cream shop. As his identity comes out, Charlotte has to find the killer before the case reveals secrets that will impact her future.

I have truly come to love these characters this year, as evidenced by how anxious I was to visit them again in this book. However, I did find the mystery a little slow as the book got sidetracked by several sub-plots.

This movie.... Was.... *sigh* such a letdown. I wanted to like this movie so much. Iron Ma-- I mean, Spider-man was pretty good in this film. But it felt like a teenage romcom/road-trip movie and a superhero movie thrown together. It was like eating my favorite appetizer dipped in ice-cream.... Yuck. I thought that Jake Gyllenhaal's performance was probably the best. And as a villain he was one that we had seen at least four times before. Also, this is the second Spider-Man movie in a row where we didn't get a Spider-Man villain, we got an Iron Man villain who takes it out on Peter. Boo.

What is there left to say about the cream of this list, and the only one that would perhaps graduate to the title of greatest film ever made? For me, the package comes together, like tea and biscuits: one or the other is good, but both together and you really have something! Visually and emotionally one of the best stories ever shown on the silver screen. Told by an embarrassment of talent – Pacino, De Niro, Brando, Keaton, Caan, Duvall, Cazalle, and dozens of others. Not to mention the genius of Coppola in every shot, every frame, every patient, weighted and impactful moment. The bar that may never be surpassed! “I knew it was you, Fredo”. Goosebumps!
