A Clever Little Love Letter to Classic James Bond Movies
With sharp cinematography, creative action sequences, and an incredibly tight screenplay, the only thing The Kingsmen stumbles over is its own cleverness. This is another movie that proves that films can be both entertaining to the masses and offer something fresh. It gives you that nostalgia for the days of shoe phones and colorful megalomaniacal villains while still subverting enough tropes of the genre to avoid feeling like a remix. Only 9 out of 10 because for my tastes, the film was just slightly too beholden to the Rule of Cool, especially towards the end of the film.

A Wonderful Story about the Story We All Have to Tell
What a wonderful idea for a children's book. A story about how everyone has a unique and special story to tell. I love how this book travels around the world showing pictures of different places. I think it is always great when books expand children's minds to the world around them. I think teaching children to share then story and to want to learn about the story of others is a great way to explore the world and all it has to offer.

What a riveting story line! The author's creative world building immediately sucked me in and kept me immersed in the entire story. I loved some characters and of course I disliked others and did I mention that the characters were also well developed?! Full of many twists and turns and I know that readers will enjoy the dystopian world and tale that this author has created. Crossing my fingers and toes that this will become a series.

I received an eARC from the publisher via NetGalley. I made no guarantee of a favorable review and the opinions expressed here are unbiased and my own.}

What an amazing read! I was unable to put this book down and read it in one sitting. This is a fast paced and intriguing read with just the right amount of the creepy factor (duh, it is about dolls after all.) I found myself making so many assumptions about what was really going on and I was entirely wrong. So wrong that once the truth came out I was blown clear out of the water.

Broken Dolls is a unique and creative story and you will certainly not be disappointed. I'm extremely happy that I stumbled upon this author and I eagerly await the release of the next book.

Names can be confusing
Tipperton and Beau finally get some answers as the War of the Ban continues. This book does reference some of the previous books however you do not have to read those books first (unless it's part one of the Hel's Crucible duology). This duology is a great intro into the world of Mithgar. At times a little sad and graphic the descriptions are topnotch. The Elven names can be confusing at times Vandor and Vandar are two different Elves, usually Vandar is referenced as Silverleaf or Vandar Silverleaf which helps cut down on the confusion.

A great game in so many ways
I've been playing Age of Sigmar since its release and it is a great table top wargame. Combines that fantasy feel with classic Warhammer grim darkness. Whether it's modelling, painting or playing this game has something for everyone. It's also a great way to get out and meet people at clubs and events linked to the hobby. One day you could even find yourself on the competitive scene either playing in Grand Tournaments at Warhammer World or entering the Golden Daemon painting competition.

Great for all ages and abilities.
Would recommend.

Creative monster design
While I'm not a huge horror fan, I do have an appreciation for this movie. The tension built up very well at some parts, but the main selling point for me was the monster design. I thought it was pretty cool and something I haven't really seen before (but, of course, I'm not well versed in horror, so what is novel for me may be commonplace for you). Also, the movie had some truly beautiful scenes due to its setting.

The move did have some scenes/shots that gave off Blair Witch Project vibes, but it didn't really take away anything from the movie for me.

A Wild & Fun Adventure For The Whole Family!
This a very creative adaptation of the Jumanji series. This time around, the characters are transported inside the game. The writers did an excellent job of portraying the film as though the characters were actually in a video game universe.

The film is packed full of humor. Especially Jack Black's portrayal of a modern teenage girl trapped in the body of a middle-aged man. There are even some jokes designed for the older audience to get a chuckle, making it not only a good film for the family, but fun for adults as well.

The picky eater that I am, when I see a book such as this - that makes me want to eat everything on the page - they have surely outdone themselves! This is one of those books that seeing in eBook format makes me NEED to see and touch it. Images throughout this book are truly incredible - clean, fresh and beyond appealing. Love the simple, clean country look. Contains many incredibly helpful tips and techniques for both cooking and kitchen, that every cook or baker would benefit from as well as a collection of both basic and creative recipes! Steps are wonderfully detailed and illustrated - truly a work of art!
