**BOOK SYNOPSIS**
It’s never too late to find love on the high seas.

Kate Caldwell is a 72-year-old romance novelist writing under the nom de plume, Desiree Desire. With more than thirty bestsellers to her credit, Kate is considered an authority on romance. Her personal life, however, has been lacking in the love department for a long time, and she has all but given up hope of finding a true, romantic connection. Her latest series, about a rakish eighteenth-century pirate, has been a struggle. Her struggle with her own creative processes boils over on a stormy night, when Captain Edward Peregrine, a pirate of the Caribbean during the year 1721, begins appearing to her as she sleeps. Convinced that Edward is a figment of her imagination, Kate happily accepts his return visits, and the two collaborate on the first two books of the series. Then, Edward suddenly stops appearing, and Kate is frustrated with her publisher’s demands for the next book.

In desperation, she decides to take a two-week cruise with her granddaughter, Ellie, hoping the chance to relax and watch the waves breaking in the beautiful waters of the Caribbean will reset her creative process. Little did Kate know that troubled waters lay ahead or that she’s in for the adventure of her life, and possibly, true love at long last.

I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. I made no guarantee of a favorable review and the opinions expressed here are unbiased and my own.

I loved this book just as much as I loved the first one. Toma is exactly as I envisioned him to be and so much more. Thanks to the author's creative writing style you are able to feel every single emotion that Anika and Toma experience. I even found myself calling Toma not so many nice names because though he is trying to do the right thing at times he also is being a jerk. Be forewarned that once you start reading this book you won't want to put it down and I say this because I stayed up late to finish.

I cannot wait to read the next installment.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review when I signed up to host the book tour. I made no guarantee of a favorable review and the opinions expressed here are unbiased and my own.

I had the hardest time putting this book down and it quickly became a favorite book. This book about the after life is a new and creative take on the subject and the author's world building skill set were fantastic. The plot is well written and the characters were strong, pleasant and often humorous. The author quickly pulls you in with her twists and turns and I quckly devoured this book and I can't wait to read the second book. This author is the one to keep an eye out for as I know she will continue to pull her readers in!

Every wanna be memoirist needs this book
I read this book in a couple of days and found it to be incredibly helpful. I wrote memoir for my dissertation in creative writing at university and was looking for some guidelines and tools to assist me, this book has it all. Barrington takes the reader step by step through the process of memoir writing and highlights the do's and dont's in each informative chapter. Her greatest piece of advice is to read, read, read as many memoirs as possible prior to the task. This book is not for everyone, after all not everyone wants to write a memoir, but for me, the book did its job and will be a very useful tool. I would recommend this to all aspiring memoirists.

No Escaping The High Ratings
I've never been so into a show as this one. My binge-watching addiction commenced with this series. Truly addicting and irresistible. If I had to choose between all the shows I've watched, this is one of the BEST! Innovative and creative. It contains clever inventions of escape that never fail to amaze. I'm not a nail-biter, but this is the show that can cause one to start. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I didn't watch this show as it aired, I watched it on NETFLIX, I cannot imagine the viewers who actually had to wait years for the upcoming seasons because each episode has cliffhangers that leave you itching for more. It contains a great story line. Sharp plotting. It's excellent, suspenseful, and intriguing. Overall, an unpredictable thrill ride.

Good movie!
This movie was a bit slow moving but one it picked up, it was intense. Mads Mikkelsen is a very good actor and not seen enough in movies, in my opinion. His performance here was great. There's plenty of blood and violence for any action fan. There's also more than a bit of sex and nudity. The characters were creative and the effects were great. Definitely doesn't hurt that Kathryn Winnick is in this one, either(no, she doesn't get nude but who cares, it's KW!)and she puts on a good performance, as well. Some parts of the story were predictable but it unfolded well and did have a couple pretty good twists. Overall, I'd recommend this one to any action fan, though it may be a bit dark for some and definitely not for the kids! Worth a watch!
