A hugely detailed & interesting documentary
McMillions appears to be the biggest documentary to be constantly touted on the new Sky Documentaries channels, and for me their constant advertisement really worked. I've become rather fond of crime documentaries of late, they're much more interesting to watch than the never ending carousel of trash fictional shows. And McMillions is a shining example.

First of all, I knew nothing about this story. Of course I know about the McDonalds monopoly game, I've half heartedly collected pieces over the years, but I never thought there would be such an in depth criminal scam involved. So this documentary series was fascinating to watch and see how they managed to pull this off, it really is criminal genius. You can also tell that this is series is truly professional and well funded, it's not just a half baked hour on one of the lesser channels. This spares no expense in covering every aspect of this crime, including featuring first hand accounts and interviews with virtually everyone involved which is no mean feat. My personal favourite was FBI agent Doug Matthews who was downright hilarious at times. It did make me wonder how much trouble he got into afterwards for some of his rather offhand comments!

Overall this is a well rounded and intriguing documentary series, whose only downside is that even with all of the detail involved, it seems a little overly long at 6 hours.

Frank W. Abagnale tells his amazing story. He was a genius, though a criminal. That is why it took him so long to get caught (and stay caught).

I'm not going to summarize the story, because it takes away from the trill. Basically, Frank decides to leave his former life and "live it up." But of course he does it by forging checks and faking identities.

In today's modern technological world, his process wouldn't work. However, it was amazing to see Frank learn and use the system to his advantage.

I recommend this book to ages 14+ to anyone who wants a good non-fiction adventure. There is some sex but it's not explicit.

A way to change your dreams
A criminal who steals business secrets along with some others thing with the use of using a way to change dreams to get what he wants gets tasked with the challenge of stealing from a big time ceo. He enlists the help of a young student who has the creativeness to help make those changes in dreams to help with this task.

The movie itself was original and good. It kind of got boring becuase it was too long. The acting is fine and some of the action sequences were good but it was the CGI work that gave this movie its saving grace in my oppion.

The best thing you never watched
Banshee was cancelled because no one watched it. Why did no one watch it? I can't say, those that did watch it raved about it. Maybe it was ahead of its time, pre Netflix shows required well known faces, while Banshee recruited actors who were unknown but fit the character.

It was sexy, violent, dangerous and cool. Criminals who are heroes, a bank robber who replaces the ID of a cop who was murdered so becomes the towns police while at the same time trying to hide from his criminal past which wants to kill him. Brilliant stuff. Go watch it now.

It was through word of mouth that it came to my attention and I have rarely heard anyone having negatives to say about it so that seems to fit with your review. It had the right mix of everything that makes a show work. Timing has a lot to answer for in all the arts.

Family guy was cancelled before word of mouth brought it back. Maybe we can do the same here

The Evil Within: Evil Spirit Inside
Diary of a Madman - is a good psychological thriller that started Vincent Price.

The Plot: When Judge Simon Cordier (Vincent Price) goes to see Louis Girot (Harvey Stephens), a prisoner he sentenced to death, the criminal insists he is not guilty and that he is inhabited by an evil spirit. Cordier dismisses Girot's claims, but he becomes unnerved when Girot lights himself on fire to supposedly end the demonic possession. After the visit, Cordier, beset by insomnia, begins to have odd visions and starts to wonder if Girot might have been telling the truth after all.

Its psychologically twisted, horrorfying, terrorfying and overall a good movie.
