Sophia (Bookwyrming Thoughts) (530 KP) rated Bookishly Ever After (Ever After, #1) in Books
Jan 23, 2020
I received this book for free from Publisher in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Bookishly Ever After basically proves that my life sucks and the main characters life is better thus fictional lives are better. (Technically, fictional boys are better.)
Ill agree with some of the reviewers on Goodreads that Bandeiras debut novel doesnt actually have a plot because it doesnt. Bookishly Ever After is an extremely light read that a plot isnt really necessary to enjoy the book if you enjoy a really cute book with adorable main characters to boot. Phoebe, le fabulous main character, is quite literally everything that I am fictionalized aside from looks, and I am so not saying that Im cute because Im not that confident. However, it is highly unadvised for guys to tell Sophia that she is cute or pretty because she will very happily kick you (or throw a GIF at you).
It is, however, totally worth the read if anyone is looking for something cute and light.

Kayla (19 KP) rated Forever Yours, Sweetheart in Books
Apr 24, 2018 (Updated Apr 24, 2018)
The story, in short terms, is a cute romance that goes hand in hand with learning not to care what other people think and being accepting of who you are. The characters are relatable and very sweet and leave you wanting more of them when it ends!

Nostalgic and oh so cute
Wreck-It-Ralph quickly became one of my all-time favorite Disney movies. It's fun and heartwarming and honestly, it has everything you could want from not only a Disney movie but from any movie.
It also has such a great soundtrack!

They are a really funny, cute and weird family. My favorite video is one where the dad sings in the car with his daughter and they dress and dance like the song being played. At one point the dad is wearing an Elsa wig. Very funny.
Happy Tree Friends
Podcast
Cute, cuddly, and horribly wrong... It's the Happy Tree Friends! They may be sugary sweet, but...

Cute for adults and kids alike. It is a fun view of what would a skrew up do if he didn't realize they were a skew up? A journey that has twists and turns and shows the value of friendship. Highly recommend and enjoyable.
Haley Mathiot (9 KP) rated Is There a Monster Over There? in Books
Apr 27, 2018
Poor Mabel is afraid of monster hiding in her room. She and her cat hide from the monster in her fort. But one day Mabel questions whether they’re all that bad. She finds out that the monster is just as scared of her as she is of him, and then they become friends and spend the day playing and dressing up and having tea. Mabel isn’t scared of monsters anymore. This is a very cute story about not being afraid and being brave enough to take the chance of making a friend. The illustrations are adorable! The monster is cute and not to scary.
Sarah Betts (103 KP) rated The Grace Year in Books
Dec 31, 2019
I received a copy of The Grace Year from Wednesday Books through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
It's a cute pink cover, isn't? This story is not cute or pink. It's a brutal story of misogyny and control.
Tierney is a dreamer who is not allowed to dream. Her existence is destined to be an evil siren who lures men to their Doom.
Fighting back is not an option. Until it is.
It's a story about survival and how your worst enemies can be the ones who should be on your side and your allies can be who you least expect.
..
Absolutely brilliant.

T.N. Nova (30 KP) rated A Baby For Jacob in Books

Cute concept
This was a cute concept and has such potential to be a good story. I really do enjoy age play and the Daddy/little dynamic. What would have increased the rating for me, though, was if the book was expanded to add in more details and more of the Daddy/little interaction.
I would have also liked to see the interaction between the two littles of the story as well as more on how the lives of both Daddy and little progress. The other thing I would definitely suggest to the author is a good editor, or at least a decent beta reader and/or proofreader.
