I didn't enjoy this as much as the last though I'm not too sure why. Maybe I was expecting more kick arse-ness in relation to LaFleur. I guess after the last one and Elliot...it was still good but I didn't find her as evil as him so I guess her getting her comeuppance didn't excite me as much.

As for the rest of the plot. The blossoming romance between Gin and Owen is making me all warm and fuzzy. It's too cute!

Bria finally learns the truth in this and unlike Donovan Caine, who's still being mentioned two books after he vanished, I'm hoping that she'll accept Gin and help in bringing down Mab Monroe.

Onto book 5!

This is my second book by the author, the first being Wallbanger which I loved.

I liked this one to start with. Younger man older woman romances can always be interesting and how these two got together was just that. It was cute and flirty.

I just didn't always get the humour these two shared. Maybe it's because I'm a Brit...but so was Jack, so I'm a little stumped there.

The rest of the storyline didn't grab me either. It was almost like nothing happened in the story but their budding romance, which would be fine normally but I wasn't 100% behind it.

I haven't decided if I'll continue the series but at the moment I'm hovering more over the 'not' side of things.

Mowgli (2018)
2018 | Adventure, Drama, Family
Just have to admire not only the technical craft on display, but the clear love for it by Serkis who has built a career involving some of the most iconic performances via motion capturing - here directing himself and an entire cast of elites through the same technology. I was looking forward to the darker answer to the similarly bland and daft Disney version but that one at least looked cute. This one - for whatever that means - is a full-bodied Netflix movie in all the worst ways: so inconsequential, so drab, so generic, home to tons of slimy CGI, and the voice acting is somehow as shallow as the 2016 one. That Benedict Cumberbatch tiger is supposed to look villainous but it looks hilariously silly.

Long story short (and really, it's sloths, fer Pete's sake! They are as chill as the Dude! No need for long, drawn-out reviews!): Ms. Cooke knows sloths! Seriously!! In addition to all her work she has done at the Sloth Sanctuary, working with rescued sloths, she has found time to share some ridiculously cute sloth photos, along with some inspirational words of wisdom from the likes of folks like Ralph Waldo Emerson and Harper Lee.

It was very difficult for me to not finish this in one sitting. However, like an exquisite meal, each "morsel" I read was to be savored! Do yourself a favor and get this book! Your heart, and your Soul, will be most grateful indeed!

This is a very cute indie game where you play as a little mouse Tilo who is a bard. The story starts with him in a jail cell on a prison island. The story explores why Tilo is there and ways for him to escape the island to find his wife who was separated from him. The game is all stealth which is interesting making you plan out strategies on how not to be seen by enemies. Sometimes the quests are a little tedious with the constant backtracking and lack of information, but the story is well written and the game is so charming I didn't mind so much. Huh

3.25 stars.

So I'll start by saying me and long books don't get on very well. In this, I'd sort of lost interest by the 60% mark. They were together and happy, couldn't that be enough? But nope, we needed some horrible people to create some more drama and to split our very cute couple up and for them to spend the last 20% or so apart... *eye roll*

Don't get me wrong, I loved the two main characters, and as a couple *squee* adorable, or they were when Kalani finally let him into her heart. But I did feel like the story dragged a bit in the middle. All the sex scenes? Meh...I skipped most of them.

3.33 stars. 4 for the first two thirds, 2.5 for the last third.

I thought that this book was pretty funny in places, some of the situations, some of the phrases, some of the characters were just pretty crazy and that made me laugh. Gavin was cute. I can't quite picture a four year old like him with his dirty mouth and angelic face.

I have to admit though that I lost interest a little after the 2/3 point. They were happy, they were a family...why did it have to continue for all that extra length of time?

Nevertheless, Gavin and the crazy humour kept me entertained. I just need to decide if I want to read the next book in the series or not.

it is a lovely journal. It has 99 different lists to fill, the topics are taken from everyday life and the variety is very wide. From “Things you think are cute” to “Clothing that feels the most “you” ” The year has been a little grim, so a reminder of what makes me happy is quite handy. The journal is nice and colourful and filled with very fun and adorable illustrations. 🙂

So, to conclude, “99 things I want to do” is still on my wish list, but this journal is a fun reminder of the best things in life. I recommend to anyone who struggles to find joy in life, it might serve as a reminder that everything is not as bad as we think.

I seem to have a thing for Yaoi--Boys Love--and since I like my M/M Romances, why wouldn't I?

This was kinda cute once it got going. I wasn't sure what it was going to be like but once I started it, I fell into it.

To me, it read like a typical M/M Romance--a friends to lovers sort of thing, only they were step brothers.

I just have to admit I like to see it happen, because I don't always have the best imagination with books, I don't picture my characters in my head like others do. So having the comic strip helps me a lot.

Off to start Brother 2 to see if it's as good as this one.
