A film to love
Possibly my favourite Rom/com and slight guilty pleasure. Ssh I even bought it on Dvd ;) The cast is amazing, watch it again as you have probably forgotten how many of the the lesser known stars at the time are now major actors. I like how it deals with all kinds of love and relationships that we can all relate to. A little cheesey yes but great fun and nice sound track as well.

A good 3rd entry
The 3rd in the Butterfly effect series. This straight to DVD film is pretty good and better than I expected. This time a guy uses the power to solve murders for the police, but can he just observe when it comes to his own girlfriends death? A good plot, if you like a thriller involving a serial killer theme or the other films you should like this. Quite bloody in some scenes, and you'll be pleased if you work out who the killer is before the end, I did!

Why!?
You wait 21 years for a sequel to a cult classic and this is all we get? It's very poor saved at times only by Corey Feldman returning in his original role and not looking much older, maybe he is a vampire too? It's a bit like a not so good take on of Buffy, just with more gore and nudity, essential for straight to DVD horrors. Some parts were ok but the overall film just makes you think what a missed opportunity. Watch once if you are curious.

Ok so the pitch for this must have been Matrix meets Underworld. It's very stylized, has some nice production. The CGI was good especially for the Vamps, the weapon and vehicle design was nice ( There is a 10 min featurette on the DVD for these, the bikes looking a cross between Tron/Akira styles and Darth Maul's speeder!) However it's sadly lacking in story, which is just bizarre and substance with a run time 75min! The ending just happens a bit too quick. Nice touches but overall not a patch on the similar films.

Yes this does kinda add up to The Karate Kid for the Youtube generation, with an MTV makeover. This time using MMA basically like UFC, cage fighting using any fighting style. Despite the obvious plot and seeing this type of film more than a few times, this is pretty decent. It has a strong cast and the fight scenes are well shot. There is an extra on the DVD to get each of the fights in the film broken down into how they were filmed etc which is pretty good.

Just seen not the funniest movie I've seen this year but I did find it funny. Basically dave bautista plays the entire movie blind and kumali nanjiani plays his uber driver with disastrous results iko uwais plays the villian in my opinion underused brilliant in the raid movies but here not so much. The rest of the cast we're good even Karen Gillan who's only in the first five minutes of the movie. Would I watch again probably on DVD or blu ray

"Where a DVD ceases to be entertainment and becomes a fully immersive educational package about film history, film marketing, the purity of a director’s control, and also one of the greatest films ever made. This was a big deal to acquire; I coveted it for a long time and could not justify the purchase since it was always fairly expensive. I went to a test screening of The Brothers Grimm and met Terry Gilliam for fifteen seconds, and he was so nice and polite that I went home and bought it immediately."
