DADDY MARC'S GEM is the second novella in the Club Sensations series. Marc is a therapist and a Daddy, but a lonely one as he hasn't found his boy. Foster is an antiques dealer/restorer without a shop, in a place where he doesn't know anyone and was isolated before being dumped.
I loved how these two met and how it grew naturally. Foster has questions and needs answers before deciding - which is fair enough, in my opinion. Foster is also a sweetheart who has been dumped on by too many people and needs the love and affection Marc is more than happy to bestow on him.
Tate's story (Born Daddy) is mentioned during a conversation between Marc and Zane, who also makes an appearance with Ryan while Ty is only mentioned, so you don't need to have read book one to enjoy this one.
A short read but one I thoroughly enjoyed. Hot and spicy in places; loving, tender, and protective in others. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

so much love from these men!
I was gifted my copy of this book.
Helen Juliet usually retells fairy tales, and a cracking job she has of those too! This is not a fairy tale, but a literary classic. And a cracking job she does of this too!
I have one minor niggle, and it really is just a personal preference.

Now, if you follow my reviews you'll know I have dumped many MANY books that I discover are written this way. I will make no apologies for that, I know what I like and I will own it every time. I wasn't able to dump this one, as apart from this point I really enjoyed it!
Sai and Jude are married, and they have Tian as their third. It has been so for 3 years. But Tian looks at Evan and sees so much pain, he just wants to be such a good boy for him.
The established 3-way works best because of 2 rules: you always come home, and communication. I found the communication in this book between Tian, Jude and Sai was outstanding and it paved the way for all three men to find themselves attracted to Evan in ways they really didn't see coming.
I loved how things changed for them all over time. Sai found himself wanting to be looked after, even though he was the Daddy in the three way. Jude wanted to be a good boy for Daddy Evan, while he was a brat to Daddy Sai. And Tian? Well just was just gonna be the bestest little boy a Daddy could wish for. Evan changed too, settling his ghosts to rest, and letting someone else into his heart. Well, someones, plural.
It's incredibly well written, and well delivered. It pushes most of my buttons, (point already made!) and is Ms Juliet at her best. Sweet and so very smexy. But deeply emotional too. Mostly from Evan letting go of Beau.
I loved how I was able to slot this book along side the Dickens version, and even if he might be not be best pleased, I really loved it!

focuses more on the care a Daddy gives

Archie gets a job as PA for his favourite author and finds himself wanting to do so much than manage his diary. Hamish is is a grumpy so and so, but the young Archie becomes his muse very quickly. When one of Archie's brothers gets an invite to an adult party, both Archie and Hamish see the other in a different way.
I really really enjoyed this! It focuses more on the CARE a Daddy gives, in all ways, rather than the sex part, and I loved that I found it equally warm and fuzzies/too stinking cute and smexy!
It's not especially taxing on the brain, no complicated plot line or too much trauma to either of them, and I appreciated that right about now.
I loved that Archie and Hamish get on well together, as boss/employee, as friends, and then as Daddy/boy. They really are perfect for each other, they fit so well together. I loved Hamish's friends, and seeing how they might fit into future books. I loved the ABC triplets and I really look forward to reading Blake and Corey's tales!
It says 230 odd pages, but I didn't think it was that long. I really got sucked in with these two and time flew.

POSE FOR ME is a standalone dark romance with a Daddy/boy relationship. And trust me when I say that's the most normal thing about the book!
What we have here is a book about a serial killer who kidnaps the FBI agent who is hunting for him, and both of them getting more than they thought they would. And when I say serial killer, I mean someone who kills people just because... they're not bad people, or have done bad things. They're just in the wrong place, at the wrong time, catching the eye for whatever reason of the wrong person.
My favourite part of a Daddy/boy romance is the caretaking aspect of it, and this had that in spades, even though you may think it unlikely. I've read others, but none hit the mark as much as caretaking, and this had everything. Possessiveness, neediness, lingerie, c0ckwarming, it's all here and I loved every moment.
I read this book in one sitting and couldn't put it down. I loved every word, and now I need to find the other book mentioned so I can read that too. Absolutely brilliant and definitely recommended by me.

bloody LOVED this!

Okay then!
Daddy kink has been very hit and miss for me, some okay, some good, but not ever so many being so bloody good, but this one??
So Bloody Good!!
Hunter is a Dom, through and through but is disillusioned with the scene and wants to step away. He wants to retire for the police force. He wants. . . . something else. Colsen is a train wreck waiting to happen, after the death of his mother, he is wracked with guilt for not answering the phone and now he has been suspended from work. The weekend in Vegas to celebrate his best friend's up-coming wedding is the last thing he needs but he won't let his friend down. Hunter and Colsen come together, and it's not a matter of if they will butt heads, it's purely a matter of when. Can what happens in Vegas really STAY in Vegas?
I think what makes this one work so well for ME was this was a Daddy/boy relationship, rather than a Daddy/little one. Yes, Hunter buys Lego kits for Colsen, but thats more to focus his mind on something else. And Hunter wasn't really a Daddy before Colsen, either. A Dom, yes, but not a Daddy. There is an age gap, yes, but Hunter is approaching 50 (much to his disgust!) and Colsen is in his 30's. They are both working their way through what they need from the other, even if they hate each other.
And they work through their way spectactularly! Heads butt, yes indeed, and fists almost, but what gets to Colsen the most? Words. Words Hunter says in a certain tone, that pushes all kinds of his buttons he didn't know needed pushing. I LOVED how much Colsen fought Hunter, I really did. It doesn't take much for Hunter to find out why Colson is drinking so much, and once he does, he changes tactics to get Colson. Because Hunter WANTS Colsen like he never wanted before, and Colsen will be his boy, even if only for the weekend in Vegas.
But they can't leave it in Vegas, and it is great reading when Colsen finds out what Hunter did, and when Hunter comes into Colsen's space for the first time, discovering he kept some things going.
I loved it, when they finally, FINALLY, admit those three little words to each other! Very in keeping with these guys, and I loved the little epilogue.
I was to go back and read Dan and Theo's story now, too. It's their wedding they are in Vegas to celebrate. I want to continue with this series too, some interesting characters!
It's been a while since I had a one sitting read, and this one just nailed it, for me.

EMIL is the third book in the Almstead Island: Newcomer's Club and was a fantastic read from beginning to end. If you're looking for a 'normal' Daddy/boy book, then this probably isn't for you.
Anders is a mixture of service sub and boy. The story begins with him in a bad relationship with John, who takes advantage of Anders need to serve, and basically is just plain nasty, to the point that Anders ends up in hospital. Luckily for Anders, Emil has just taken over John's family's business and is on hand to take care of him. John and his family are all cut from the same cloth, and delight in making things difficult for Anders, including framing him for stealing money from the company. Emil doesn't believe it and takes Anders under his wing as everything is investigated. This gives them both time to learn more about each other.
At the beginning, this story is described as a glacier-burn. It made me smile, but now I fully understand! It may be incredibly slow, but it's what Anders needs, and Emil is ALL about doing what Anders needs.
You do get to see the other Daddies in this series, plus some of the Littles and their Daddies from a different series (Just a Little), so although you can read this as a standalone, you will see characters you may or may not know.
This is not a traditional Daddy/boy story, and I loved it for that! I am so happy Anders got his HEA, and I hope they both appear in future books and crossovers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me.

Bowie and Kari are perfect for each other!
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book.
This is book 6 in the Divergent Omegaverse series, and I recommend you read them in order. While the books themselves are overlapping in the timeline, some things happen in previous books that are mentioned here, and talked about but not fully recapped and you really do need to know about the visit to the ranch, and what happened at the factory.
There have been hints about Kari and Bowie in previous books and I really enjoyed their book. Not loved though, and I can't figure out why!
Kari is a born Starling, twin to Kodi. He's the calmer of the two.
Kari watches Bowie, like a hawk, so he notices when something isn't right, his wolf knows something is very wrong. Once Kari finds Bowie, his Daddy side kicks in. And that Daddy side is so powerful, and sweet, and loving and neither of them saw this coming, so it was cute as well.
Bowie had a difficult upbringing, and it spills over into his adult life. The prologue made me cry! But once Bowie finds his feet, as it were, with his Daddy, and once they get smexy? Oh my days, that boy is fierce!
Some darker things happen, but I'm not spoiling it for you.
I'm looking forward to Kodi's book, and there is also Jupiter and Laken still to fall. I do enjoy the snippets of text messages, between the PA's and the Starling brothers. And the little bits we get of Lane and Derick (Popi and Dad!)
It's a fairly easy read, and I can't figure out why I didn't love it! Sorry!

This is book 6 in the Divergent Omegaverse series, and I recommend you read them in order. HIS BOY TO CHERISH is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two series, and I am over the moon to announce Jayden gets his HEA!!!!
Oh, man! I fell for Jayden in Greeking Out and my heart hurt for him because the Daddy he got was definitely NOT one on the caring scale. And it was obvious from the very beginning that THAT is what Jayden not only wants but needs.
Bless him, you find out about Jayden's life and he's had it rough but he keeps up appearances and leaves his mask firmly in place as no one wants a grumpy boy. It is up to Ben to prove to him that he wants him no matter what, through joy and sadness, through pain and sorrow, as well as good times. And boy, does Ben step up to the mark!
This has a light Christmas theme, as in they first meet on Boxing Day and their courtship takes place over the Christmas period. Ben and Jayden instantly click but both have questions -- which is completely understandable!
I loved how Troy and Apollo were here but didn't take over the story. I really want Jude to have his own too. Yes, I'm greedy!
A warm and fuzzy story that is absolutely recommended by me. It is heartwarming and sincere and left me with a huge smile on my face. Loved it!

DADDY PROTECTOR is the first book in the Night Ops Daddies series, and trust me, there's not a snowball's chance in hell you will forget the name of the series.
You know when a blurb grabs you, like really grabs you, and you can't wait to read the book? That was this one for me. Well, it didn't turn out as I expected...
Okay, first things first. I was confused within the first couple of pages when Cole (Daddy MC) meets up with Hunter and gets arm-twisted into looking after Hunter's son, Richie (Little MC). Hunter? Who's that? The blurb says his name is Mitch! In the same part, I was put off by the author's use of 'real men'. I quote "I might be in my forties now, but a cold beer or several still appeals to me from time to time, that's for sure. And to sink them with some REAL MEN, the kind you find in the Night Ops Guards... well that's just perfection." Alphahole alert coming up!
Which leads me nicely onto the next point - see the bit in the sentence above about the Night Ops Guards? Get used to seeing it. I counted 27 instances of this phrase being used in the first 15%, and I probably missed some, as my eyes were too busy rolling. There is also the repetitive use of 'gruff', 'the son of a Night Ops Guard', and other phrases. Honestly, it just feels trite and flat, used more for word count than something meaningful between the two MCs.
I also didn't feel as though Cole was the best example of a Daddy, so I really hope that if anyone does pick up this book, they will have read other Daddy books first. There is a difference between being firm and being a jerk. Walking into someone's home, who doesn't know you, laying down the law, and telling them to put on "proper clothes" when they were enjoying Little Space, is a jerk of the first degree. There is more I could say, but I think I've said more than enough.
I was really looking forward to this book, reading about a group of military Daddies, saving the world one boy at a time. I was disappointed with what I got, and as such, I won't be recommending this book.

Honestly, it just feels trite and flat, used more for word count than something meaningful between the two MCs.
I also didn't feel as though Cole was the best example of a Daddy, so I really hope that if anyone does pick up this book, they will have read other Daddy books first. There is a difference between being firm and being a jerk. Walking into someone's home, who doesn't know you, laying down the law, and telling them to put on "proper clothes" when they were enjoying Little Space, is a jerk of the first degree. There is more I could say, but I think I've said more than enough.
I was really looking forward to this book, reading about a group of military Daddies, saving the world one boy at a time. I was disappointed with what I got, and as such, I won't be recommending this book.
