Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Apollyon (Covenant, #4) in Books

4.5 stars
What was with that ending? "Paradise is waiting for you." I really hope that's in regards to her getting a HEA in the end and not death because I don't think I could cope with that.
A proper rollercoaster once more. Loving some more Gods action, apart from that bit with Ares and Alex near the end. I wanted to murder him myself!
Off to start book 5! And hoping everything works out in the end for this lot and no more semi important characters getting killed off. Please...

Reagan Elizabeth Grainger (288 KP) rated Louis Theroux's: Savile in TV
Sep 25, 2020
Honest refelction
Filmed after Jimmy had died and allegations of his sexual abuse arose (due to his death he was never convicted) Louis re examined his friendship and knowledge of Jimmy. Hard to watch in place as Jimmy was a pedophille hiding in plain sight and some to at times almost reveal himself as that. Louis focuses on what went wrong and why no-one had the bravery to come forward swooning including himself and his initial programming. Genuine and filmed to show the true horrors of Jimmy's actions.

Sian-marie Garth (3 KP) rated The Librarian of Auschwitz in Books

Great read
Dita was a prisoner of auschwitz, books were banned and if found punishable by death, she became the Librarian of block 31, block 31 was like a small school it was to give children a sense of a little normality with a small amount of books which were given out by dita and also looked after and repaired, as you can imagine it horrific what the children saw and the conditions they had to live in. Such a heartwarming and upsetting read.

Chloe (778 KP) rated Silent Scream (D.I. Kim Stone, #1) in Books

Plot twist
Dark
Excellent detective
The death of a woman in a bath tub starts the story off and it unravels from then. The secrets really dont stay buried.
Kim Stone is a phenomenal detective, very believable and this first case really hits home. The plot is dark and twisted, it has you on tenter hooks wondering who done it throughout. The list of suspects is long but the writing enables you to follow along well.
Really didnt see the twist at the end after all the drama.
