Another low budget straight to DVD release. Starts off well but ends up more of a horror comedy?! The make-up effects and design for the dead characters is pretty good but that's about the only positive. Reminded me a bit of House (More like this) section, but that was much better.

I don't really solo too much since I usually am attempting to design something when I have alone time.... but I love the idea of this group, so I thought I would join... have you tried Palm island Yet, I picked it up and it seems like a solo kind of playing game.

Cool, thanks for taking a look.
I've not played Palm Island yet but it does seem to be getting good reviews in the solo groups.

Coming soon as a Smashbomb giveaway*, your chance to peer intensely over Keira Knightley's shoulder in a movie poster. Lord knows Knightley gets some stick for doing the same thing over and over again (a bit unfairly), but the people who design the publicity for her movies are much worse.

*Not really.

Don't worry, girls and women! You too can appear behind one of Keira's shoulders! If it's a lighter movie you may not even have to peer intently, and the background will be white.

"Another instance of pleasurable re-reading. William Gaddis’ first novel, mid-1950s, The Recognitions, and I remember walking into a bookstore in Manhattan and being intrigued by the striking cover design, from a 15th century Italian altarpiece. The first paragraph knocked me out and I’ve been reading and re-reading Gaddis ever since."

"My favorite film of the past decade. A funny-sad tapestry of slummy British life and a portrait of a striver poking her way up through the concrete. Best dance sequences and best sound design and best use of Nas. See Michael Fassbender begin his reign as resident psychosexual nightmare heartthrob here."

"Agoraphobia, colonialism, trespass and gravity of sacred spaces, and a haunting portrayal of institutionalized abuse. I truly love how this film has become such a potent part of the fashion canon, via those pretty white dresses in afternoon sunlight. That golden light! And the subterranean hum in the sound design is perfect."

"Despite being at the forefront of high-tech innovation in architecture, Wilkinson still uses drawing as a way to think through ideas, to grapple with design problems, and as a tool for communication. Many of the drawings were done with a small set of watercolors (mixed with gin?) while traveling on airplanes."

I have had this phone around a year and I love it.
I was always more a Nokia or Sony fan but I was wrong.
The camera both front and back is great. Battery life is not amazing but still a great phone.

Miller’s Mid-Century Modern: Living with Mid-Century Modern Design is a collection of photos of modern designs of yesteryear, collated by Judith Miller.

This large, hardcover book is sets out to share with you the best styles of interior, and furniture design history from the 1940s to the 1970s. Included within are also selective pieces of ceramics, glass, metalware and textiles .

It’s a beauty of a book, and alongside being an arty one full of great designers and their precious designs, I think the most interesting part of this, (that many people will be buying this for) are the price codes to see how much everything is worth – should they have one of these (sometimes extravagant) items in their own collections. Although, this is not a Millers Antique guide and more of a coffee table book with lots of large pictures. Plus, many of these pieces featured are way out of most people’s budget. Well, in my circles, anyway!

Having said this if you love interior design, famous designers and do like collecting antique furniture and bits and bobs, this will make a lovely edition to your coffee table book collection.
