I'm probably very biased towards this, it was the first installment in the series that I played and served as my proper introduction to DC - before that I was all Marvel all the way. I loved the fight mechanic, the character design and the huge sandbox you get to play in.

This game is genuinely fun. The mechanics are great, especially if you want limited interaction between players. It is challenging, and requires a decent amount of games to make you feel like you have gotten good at it.
The design feels similar to Catan, which also feels a bit dated.
