Another gem by Janet Evanovich. I am SO addicted to this series that it isn't even funny!
In this installment Stephanie finds herself standing next to an armed robber when he takes his mask off making her the only person in Trenton who knows the identity of the "Red Devil." Go figure! Of course the Red Devil turns out to be a member of the Comstock Street Slayers who are in the process of initiating a new general. They decide to make Stephanie the final target of his coronation. Needless to say, hilarity ensues, but this book was pretty suspensful too. Plum is always getting herself into stiky situations, but this one was only the 2nd situation that stressed me out as a reader.
Obviously I knew she would make it out of the book alive since there are 7 more books in the series. That didn't stop me from worrying though. The mark of a great book!

Sooo many things to love about this book. I mean. Shayne Silvers has found a way to bring Jekyll and Hyde into it. So, we have Olympian forces, Victoria Helsing, Dracula, Doctor F.Stein and Jekyll and Hyde! Some of the most memorable characters from literary history given new life! (He is the Doctor Frankenstein of story writing).
What can I say about Devil's Cry? - I didn't see that coming! Shayne has outdone himself as I found myself immersed in the story to the point I could feel the dirt beneath my fingernails as I read a particular scene in Central Park. As with most vampire stories, things get a little heated. Things get sexy. And there is blood. And magic. I still can't get over how much I am enjoying a Vampire story!
Sorin Ambrogio is no ordinary vampire.
He is the Devil, and he has enraptured me.

Let The Bats Fly
The Devil Bat- a nice classic black and white horror film that starred Bela Lugosi as the villian. Which he is excellent and perfect as. Bela Lugosi perfects the villain role. I love him as a actor. Anways back to The Devil Bat.

The plot: Dr. Paul Carruthers (Bela Lugosi) is frustrated because he thinks his employers, Mary Heath (Suzanne Kaaren) and Henry Morton (Guy Usher), have cheated him out of the company's profits. He decides to get revenge by altering bats to grow twice their normal size and training them to attack when they smell a perfume of his own making. He mixes the perfume into a lotion, which he offers as a gift to Mary and Henry. When they turn up dead, a newspaper reporter (Dave O'Brien) decides to investigate.

Its a classic fun entertaining horror movie with bats attacking people and their master is Bela Lugosi so that is a plus.
