Watching Halloween: Curse of Michael I am not a fan of these movie for many reasons first one Jamie is older and has a baby we don't know who the father is but it makes us believe that it's Michael Myers, 2 we actually think that Tommy Doyle is actually still living and how Haddonfield?, and three we actually believe that Michael Myers is working with a devil cult?!?!? This movie is kind of actually confusing you really think about it, it doesn't really fit into the lines of the other Halloween movies before it but again it is entertaining if you like horror movies for he does deliver in this movie,! The next movie I'll watch is H2O and see how it fits in with the other movies!

WOW…. This book is way above a 5star read!

I have to say I really enjoyed Owen Mullen’s first two books featuring PI Charlie Cameron – Games People Play and Old Friends and New Enemies – and have been recommending them both to everyone I speak to. This third novel, Before The Devil Knows You’re Dead is even better than the first two!

It may be that once we reach book three we know the characters who feature in all three books. I would love to meet Charlie Cameron!

I felt this book moved at a faster pace than the last which made it impossible to put down. I switched between the paperback and the kindle versions depending on where and when I was reading.

It was gripping and I look forward to Owen Mullen’s next release!

So. Right odf the hop. I must say I appreciate a French movie that splices in some English from it's actors. Good on ya.
This movie kicks off about 15 or so minutes in.... With some desecration of a severed head... And an immediate beheading....
From there on out its brutality and fine special effects that take over. A beautifully placed twist near the end provides an unexpected, at least to me, WHAT THE FUCK moment.
All in all this is a must watch for all foreign horror fans... Its right up there woth fellow French films Martyrs and Inside.... As well as Korea's I Saw The Devil.

"This used to get me when I was in college. I haven’t watched [Tarkovsky’s] films for years now, but they really got my goat. I did not understand anything. I just watched it, and I used to have a visceral reaction with them. And I haven’t seen them for about 20 years, but any of his [would make the list]. I think The Mirror, or even The Sacrifice, or Nostalghia — any one of those just blew my rocks off. Somebody like Polanski, he does a film with the devil or he does a thriller and his DNA is all over it. So when I look at the Tarkovsky films I just think like I could interchange all of them and watch them, each one of them just shook my world."
