Dr. Sloan wakes up from a coma to find he's forgotten the last two years of his life, including his new wife. Will working on a mystery help him get his life back? The characters are great as always, but the plot just didn't quite work the way it was supposed to. Still entertaining.

In this book we find a family dealing with and overcoming loss and someone reeling for a recent diagnosis of MS. I thought that the characters in this book were well thought out and the situations presented were believable. I thought Stacey Weeks did a good job conveying some difficult topics that are not often covered in books. I did not like some of the authors explanations of things as I thought they were unnecessary.

When Mark hears a gunshot at a neighbor's house, he investigates to find two dead bodies who have been dead for more than a couple of minutes. He's certain the killer is the person with the perfect alibi. Can he prove it? Lots of twists and turns with characters who live up to their TV show persona. Another great read.

The body of a woman washes up on the beach, but inside are pictures from Mark's first case. As he thinks back to what happened then, will it give him a clue about the current murder? This is an emotionally gripping book that really explores Mark's character in the new way. Highly recommended for fans of the series.
