A pretty meh reboot.
H20 finds Jamie Lee Curtis returning to the role of Laurie Strode. For 20 years she's been in hiding from Michael Myers, she's been staying at a college campus with her son John (Josh Hartnett), but Michael is hunting them down.

H20's plot is less weird than the last couple of outings in the franchise, but it still feels a bit silly. The movie opens up showing Michael Myers doing some investigation to find out where Laurie disappeared to, which it just so happens that the nurse from the original movie had in her house. It was kind of a dumb start, and it never fully recovers from it.
There were 3 different masks used, resulting in obvious differences from shot to shot. One mask was particularly terrible, it looked like a clown mask.
The movie does benefit from a decent supporting cast including the likes of Michelle Williams, LL Cool J, Adam Arkin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and even Janet Leigh.
Tonally, H20 is somewhat cheesy, it shouldn't be taken too seriously, though who would at this point in the series?

Halloween H20: 20 Years Later will entertain fans of the series and horror fans alike. But don't expect it to be anything especially good.

Hill House
The Haunting- doesnt live up to the oringal, now thats with most horror remakes, and this is one of them. Liam Neeson and Lili Taylor did a good job. Why cast owen wilson, he does nothing in the film but just say "wow". Catherine Zeta-Jones was just there.

The plot: This horror tale focuses on visitors to the secluded mansion of Hill House who have been called to the isolated location by Dr. David Marrow (Liam Neeson) as part of a study on insomnia. However, Marrow is really investigating fear, and he plans to scare the subjects, including the introverted Nell (Lili Taylor) and the seductive Theo (Catherine Zeta-Jones). Unfortunately for Marrow and everyone staying at Hill House, the manor is actually haunted by an evil spirit out to torment its guests.

Steven Spielberg talked to Stephen King about doing a haunted house movie, and the two agreed that Robert Wise's 1963 film "The Haunting" was a benchmark of cinematic house horror, but after they started writing, the two had creative differences. Spielberg agreed with King's idea to use the real-life Winchester Mystery House, in San Jose, California, as a source of inspiration.

I loved Bared to You. It’s a seductive story about two completely broken people who come together; I love these particular kinds of books because it’s inspiring to watch the characters slowly begin to heal, through each other. Eva is so completely relatable to me, it’s almost scary. Gideon, despite being rich and hot, seems more obtainable because of the simple mistakes we watch him make. This is probably my favorite part about the whole book, that both characters seem real. Unfortunately, I couldn’t help but make several connections to Fifty Shades of Grey. This kind of set me off, because most of the stories that follow this trilogy involve almost the exact same contents, but I soon realized that Sylvia has her own twists. These differences are what spurred me on and convinced me to keep reading. I immediately fell in love with Cary and, once I realized he wouldn’t be an obstacle, I quickly decided I liked Mark (despite the goatee). Eva’s and Gideon’s adventure is full of scorching heat, broken hearts, and a healing of sorts. As soon as I finished Bared to You, I was scrambling around to get the sequel, Reflected in You. I’m excited to see what Sylvia has in store for these two!
