this is the first book in the series I've read and I wasn't disappointed, what a fab read. this story has love, loss, discovery and plenty of suspense which will keep you hooked long into the night. I loved the characters and the story was well written. this book can defiantly be read as a stand alone.

The Last was a blast
There has been nuclear bombings in all major cities leaving this hotel full of people in remote Switzerland alone. What will the survivors do to survive in a world where the rules no longer apply? Add deep reflection, neccesity for awakened self discovery, cannabalism, a murder mystery and the hint of the paranormal and you have a deep and enthralling imaginative novel.

With all the gloom and doom in the news at the moment I think we could all do with some cheering up. So please reccomend me a film that has put a smile on your face.

Can be an old classic or a recent discovery.

My pick would be 'Blinded By The Light' as a big Springsteen fan it really did the trick for me.

Watched What We Do in the Shadows last night. Such a quirky funny film, never fails to make me smile.

London, the summer of 1936, and things seemed to be changing at an alarming rate - not always for the better. One of the less pleasant things happening was the discovery of two women, strangled by the murderer they called the "Tie-Pin Killer" due to his gruesome skewering of their tongues.
