I was really ticked when The Clone Wars was taken off Netflix, but I understand that Disney's pulling all of their media from other streaming services. While I was going through my couple hundred movie, I randomly found the first season in my collection. Apparently, the DVD is now worth around $50.
It was always a massive bummer that we never really knew the details of what happened in the Clone Wars exactly from the films. This show fills in the gaps, not only showing Anakin and Obi-Wan's adventures, but several other jedi as well. It also introduced new characters, such as Ahsoka, and Ventress. The first season is solid and entertaining. I'm glad that it was kept in canon when Disney took over.

David McK (3562 KP) rated What If? in TV

What If?
What If?
2021 | Action, Animation, Comedy
Marvel's latest Disney Plus series, this is a departure from the previous (WandaVision, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki) in that this is - in reality - an animated anthology series that re-visits earlier Marvel movies and posits the question 'Waht if ...?'

For example, What If ... Peggy Carter took the super soldier serum instead of Steve Rogers.
What if ... T'Challa became StarLord instead of Peter Quill
What if ... Ultron won

And so forth and so on.

Basically, the multiverse.

Due to its nature, some of the stories are better than others: for me by far the worse was the Zombie themed one, whilst a strong contender for the best would probably be the Waht if .. Thor was an only child? entry.

Your tastes may vary, of course!

This is the book 4 in the 'original' (as in, Rogue Squadron, not Wraith Squadron) mid-90s series of Star Wars novels, following on from the earlier novels [book:Rogue Squadron|513176], [book:Wedge's Gamble|513198] and [book:The Krytos Trap|513200].

Here' we're still following the exploits - mainly - of Corran Horn and his fellow X-Wing pilots, as they resign from The New Republic (at the end of the previous novel) in order to launch an all-out war on the Imperial dictator Ysanne Isard, who has now taken control of the planet Thyferra where the miracle healing agent Bacta originates from.

So, Top Gun in space, basically.

I still find these more enjoyable than the newer, post-Disney acquisition, novels such as [book:Alphabet Squadron|42207529]
