The Great Mouse Detective- is a really underrated animation film made by disney that was released in the late 80's. Plus you have Vincent Price as the villian. I love Vincent Price he is such a excelllent actor.

The Plot: Basil embarks on the greatest case of his career when London's master toymaker is kidnapped. He ends up pitting his wits against his old adversary, Professor Ratigan, who wants to become `supreme ruler of all mousedom'.

The Great Mouse Detective- mixes "Sherlock Holmes", "The Rescuers" and "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad" togther into one film. You have mystery, comedy, adventure, action and music.

Its a very underrated film, that i highly recordmend.

*Sigh*. I wanted to like this movie. I really did. Like, I've tried sitting through it before, and I couldn't make it, but I figured, let's give it another go. And... I don't know... it just doesn't live up to anything. Everything about this movie is underwhelming. It's a slow burn, It's got pacing problems, I don't really care about any of the characters and the songs were pretty pitiful. I didn't really care for this movie and with all of the other Disney classics that are out there, this one just kind of falls by the wayside. Maybe it's a side-effect of seeing this as an adult, but I did not like this film. Tolerable at best, boring at worst.

If you thought only Disney Pixar can make animated musicals with the power to make you cry as hard as you laugh, then think again. Netflix is here to surprise you! I've always loved animated movies but avoided Over the Moon when it was released last month because I heard it was all about how a young girl deals with grief and ugh, can anyone in 2020 handle their emotions? Because I sure can't. I couldn't stay away forever though and I'm so glad I finally gave it a try. This is such a beautiful movie from its storytelling to its visuals. If this isn't an Oscar contender I will RIOT.

So, watching the Disney adaptation of this, you kind of feel bad for Ichabod Crane. From what I can recall, he's kind of a lovable dope, right?
Book? Completely different. Ichabod is kind of an aloof d-bag, the new, local school teacher and scaredy cat. Of course, the Legend of Sleepy Hollow is the Headless Horseman, thought to be a deceased Hessian soldier.
After being rebuffed by the chick he thinks is into him, at a dance, and terrified of this story that was told to him, he heads home, and was never seen again, Was it the chick's other suitor who killed him? Was he so embarrassed he just moved?
No one knows, and I kind of dug the ending for leaving it open ended.
