A brilliant continuation of the first film. Telling the story of the Broken Doll and how she came to be part of the carnival, as well as the devil's attack on heaven.

Tiffany doll
Currently doing a double bill of this and seed of chucky not really a fan of the child's play movies but this one made me laugh alot there's plenty of gore chuckys on form with the one liners but for me the real star is the Tiffany doll voiced by jennifer tilly the perfect foil for chucky thruout the movie. Overall good sequel better than some of the others now for seed of chucky

From the start, the movie does have a different feel to the first movie. It's brightly lit and doesn't have that eerie look that the first movie did, but do prepare for the first jump scare literally minutes into the movie.
Anyway after a traumatic event at their home, a family decide to rent a house in a new location. During a walk in the woods, their now mute son Jude finds a doll buried in the woods and decides to keep it. The family clean it up and go to bed, it is soon obvious that something is inhabiting the doll as we see it's eyes and head move, and Jude appears to be communicating with the doll, which if you've seen the first movie literally makes no sense. The mum eventually realises there's something odd about the doll, but is it too late?
Despite the I continuity from the first movie and the so many plot holes, I did enjoy it but I hope there's a 3rd movie to explain the connection between both movies.

Very good remake

If you watch the movie with the intention to compare it to the original, chances are you won't like it. This is exactly what I did upon first putting the movie on, when it first showed the ibuddy doll I almost immediately turned it off, I mean come on that is NOT how a good guy doll should look. Instead I stopped trying to compare, took it for what it was and ended up enjoying it. The storyline is completely different to original child's play. instead of a murderers soul trapped in a doll trying to find another human to transfer into, it is essentially a smart doll which goes haywire trying to keep Andy for himself. However, for a doll I found it funny that Andy could have conversations with him like he really was human and he thought nothing of it. I don't know about you but if a toy started understanding and communicating with me I would freak out! Anyway, this aside I really enjoyed the movie, the humour was spot on (I laughed way too hard when chucky presented Andy with his mums boyfriends face as a present, including a bow 😂😂), the death scenes were good and gory and acting was great. OK so it wasn't Brad douriff but tear yourself away from the original and you've got a pretty decent slasher.

Rolling Stone's 460th greatest album of all time
I was slightly surprised at Courtney Love's voice, being very powerful from the off. No standout tracks with the exception of Doll Parts, but an all-round half decent rock album.
