"Red Dragon by Thomas Harris was written a long, long time ago [it was published in 1981]. But it’s the original of the CSI series and it made me want to join the FBI and put on some gloves and catch killers"

Sat down to watch this film, was pleasantly surprised by the first thirty minutes. It was absolutely beautiful. And then the sea beast arrived and I realized I was watching a worse version of How to Train your Dragon. Still liked it.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019)

Nearly the perfect ending for this trilogy. What started as a story about an abnormal boy and the lost dragon he adopts is now a story of leadership and growing up. Hiccup is the chief of his clan of Vikings who now live harmously with dragons in Berk. After an unsuccesful kidnapping of valuable dragons, pirates hire a powerful dragon hunter who wants to kill the last Nightfury. Using the distraction of a mysterious Lightfury, he displaces the village of Berk and kidnaps Toothless. Both Hiccup and Toothless learn that leadership requires tough choices that influence human history forever.

This is a short but very sweet prelude to the world of the Keepers of the Stones and is followed by Curse of the Ice Dragon.

You are immediately swept away into the world of Feira and the village in which she lives. You are given an incredible amount of knowledge in a short time but in no way overloaded. She has the power to heal but also to harm as there must be balance in all things.

Absolutely brilliant and also loved Curse of the Ice Dragon. Looking forward to reading more of this series as soon as it's available.

"Rock Star is an interesting movie for me; I watched it probably around 15 times. I love what it represents; I love that it’s almost a mockumentary of ’80s excess. And any movie with Jennifer Aniston is always a good movie. But more than anything for me, I love the music in it. I actually have bought the soundtrack twice — I lost the first one — and I’m a big Steel Dragon fan. I like Steel Dragon enough to know there are two singers who recorded the music for it, Jeff Scott Soto and Miljenko Matijevic from Steelheart. I know more than I should"
