A little out dated now?
Cheapest Mac offering
I've had a couple of Mac minis now. The first one lasted a good 7 years and just needed updating really. My current one is about 4 years old now but is still handy. It depends what you are going to use it for mainly. Mine has a 1Tb HD, 8Gb Ram and an i5 processor. I mainly use it to store my old music on iTunes and photos along with editing them on lightroom. It's great for this and can update large files as you edit them.
I rarely use it for anything else though. Most people use phones or tablets for Internet browsing. You can access all the apps on the app store. Just surprised this model doesn't have a disc drive. File transfer to or from a USB drive is extremely quick, 100's of photos in seconds! I always prefer a desktop to a laptop or macbook when it comes to editing. Very user friendly and easy to use, just maybe a little out of date now due to new technology. Great entry level to using a Mac.

"He’s a dub reggae guy from the late ’70s. John Holt sang the original song ‘Man Next Door’. When we started the band, I had a clapped-out Mercedes Estate that I picked up for £60, and we used to drive everywhere in that car – to The Chateau where we used to play, and each others’ flats. This was on a compilation Paul had made, and we’d rewind the tape and listen to it over and over again."

This is about a African American boy and his time on his first cattle drive. He was free and there were very though jobs for them. It about Joshua being a cowboy and the prejustice of being black.

It a good read. Though this is mostly about the time in American History. It tells you more about being Black cowboy and on the trail of "The Chisholm Trail in 1871."

If you enjoy history this is good. This is told though the boys prospective as in Dear American is told though a girl prospective. It good for children to learn about our history at that time. Learn about Cattle drives as well as what it was like being African American in the 1871.

Third one in the series was a Home-Run!
I completely love The Prisoner of Azkaban from the beginning to the end. There is something about the structure of the plot and the storyline that just works. This is the movie int he series that really starts to flesh out the over-arching story of the series. You get a glimpse of the point of the whole thing in the first two movies but this one brings in the characters and the decisions that drive the rest of the story for the next 4 installments. Besides all that, the young stars of the series have grown into actual young adults in this one and they are showing off how good their acting is going to become.

DRIVE TIME by Hank Phillippi Ryan (Charlotte McNally #4) - 4
Charlie is hot on the trail of a car scam that seems to be getting more out of hand. Meanwhile, she's looking into threatening phone calls at the private school where her fiancee works and a job offer to another city is making her life even more complicated.

Charlie seemed to make a few leaps early in the book that didn't make much sense to me, but once the story got rolling, it followed logically from one twist to another. The characters were great as always, too. This is it for the series, at least for now, but I feel this is a great place to leave the characters. However, if they return, I'll be back to grab the next volume.

Stupid hilarious fun.
PLAY ONLINE! This is one of the most fun games I have ever played online with friends. The heists and other missions you can attempt with friends are so much fun or you can just drive around in your car with friends bombing the hell out of everyone around.

The single player is also really fun with the three character dynamic making it so there is always something to do/someone to kill.

Im not gonna lie. When I started this book I thought it was going to be disgustingly boring. I started off so slowly that I put it down for a while before deciding to listen to the audiobook for a long drive. I was riveted by the end of it. The ups, downs, and twists of this book had me laughing and my stomach in knots worrying about the main character. I would and have already begun recommending this book to my friends

"This is a set of six volumes and it’s expensive — but worth it for life. Van Gogh’s letters, along with the letters of Cezanne, are always inspirational to read. His pursuit of reality is thrilling, his lack of confidence, fears, doubts, excitement, his passion for nature and intensity when he talks about color, and the future of art drive you and help you accept your follies as an artist. And he did it all in such a short period of time."

This cliffhanger has me desperate to read the next book! M.J. writes in a way that captures my attention. Sure, the old-timey stuff can get a little annoying, but I felt myself drawn to how she wrote this. Benella's sisters continue to drive me crazy, I feel so much sympathy for her father, and I'm not sure how I feel about the beast, especially considering his words at the very end! I'll be working, impatiently, thinking about what's next to come.

The Land of Reverse  by David Manousos has a gentle tone with a soothing cadence to the words that suit perfectly for bedtime readings. The illustrations are a great accompaniment.

The story is about Sam who could not sleep one night. He let his mind wander to the Land of reverse. Everything Sam thought of in reality was backwards. Your hands are your feet, cars drive on the sidewalk, the animals in the zoo have the humans caged and feed them. Sam returns back to his bed happy and cannot wait to return to the Land of Reverse.

I received an ARC from NetGalley and Dog Ear Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
