"“For what it’s worth, it’s hard to put my finger on just one record. Diamond Head was such a great band for me. The same goes for a lot of the Mercyful Fate stuff. I remember driving up the highway with Hetfield, listening to Venom and Motörhead all the time. Those were two bands we liked a lot. But if you put a gun to my head, I’d have to pick Led Zeppelin. Presence is the one that came out when I was becoming a fan, because I was too young when the earlier records came out.”"

I'm still loving this series, though I didn't quite enjoy this as much as the last. There was far too much threesome going on and not enough boy on boy detailing for me. I loved it once they finally got around to it but leading up to it I wanted to either bang their heads together or slam my own against a wall. They were driving me crazy!!!! Then leading up to the end, their interaction pretty much dropped off completely until the last few pages.

A nice addition to the series but not my favourite.

"Frank Ocean is someone who has this great storytelling style that really takes you from the beginning to the end and helps to open my mind to ways of relaying an emotion. Whenever I play this record it reminds me of my first anniversary, driving in a vintage Corvette that we rented. We blasted the album the whole way. Some of my favorites are 'Swim Good' and the lyrics of the song 'We All Try' always move me. It's such a hopeful song with deep sentiment—at the heart of it, we're all trying to do our best. And that's so true."

"Clouzot’s gripping film about a group of men driving a truck full of nitroglycerine to end a mining disaster is, although it could not be more French, one of the great buddy pictures of all time, with a degree of white-knuckle suspense that has never been bettered, before or sense. It is, or could be, an elegy to the French film industry, which in its heyday could produce films of every kind that captured an international audience, and is now pretty much reduced to love stories or French comedies that, with rare exceptions, seldom seem funny to foreigners."
