Emily and Richard's hatred for the Luke/Lorelai relationship is overdone, the interference is ridiculous.
Lane and Zach is farfetched, poor Brian must feel very self conscious that Lane hadn't fallen for him too, she just dates band mates!
Stealing a Yacht... 5 seasons building up academically inclined, sensible Rory to essentially a different character completely.

Side Effects is a solid thriller, that actually kept me guessing. Rooney Mara was fantastic as Emily Taylor, the main character, who was suffering from 'side effects' of a psychiatric medication (?).

Powerful
This book follows the story of Emily Beam, a girl who has just transferred to a boarding school. This transfer takes place after her boyfriend threatens her with a gun then takes his own life.
Emily is a really interesting character. She is a mess, and spends the book trying to pull herself together. It takes a while for her to open up to other, and come to terms with everything that has happened.
One of the things I really enjoyed about this book is that Emily uses poetry to help express herself. Each chapter ends with a poem she has written. She feels connected to Emily Dickinson and that connect is explored throughout the book.
The one negative aspect of this book is that at times Emily's parents made decisions for her. This is in part because of her age. It may have also been that she was an unreliable narrator, so she was blaming her parents for some of the things that took place. I could never really decide which of these were the case.

As soon as the movie starts we learn that Stephanie is a vlogger who's "best friend" Emily is currently missing and we are thrown into a backstory of how they met. We also discover that Stephanie is a widower and Emily isn't the nicest of people, she's always criticising Stephanie and even freaked out when she took her photo, yet Stephanie still wants to hang out with her and share secrets etc. I guess Stephanie just has a hard time making friends so clings to the first woman who speaks to her, sadly this is a thing as I've known people who have done this in real life. Anyway the last time Stephanie hears from Emily, she is asked to pick up her child from school for a few hours and she's never heard from again. Stephanie and Emily's husband take it upon themselves to find out where Emily is, the investigation is short lived when Emily is found dead.
The movie was very captivating especially an hour before the end. There was so many unexpected twists and turns, just when you get over one twist another is thrown at you. There is a little humour in it, however, this humour can sometimes takeaway the seriousness of the movie as it is a little far fetched at times. You'll understand when you watch 😉

Stuggle To Survive
Wind Chill- is a good horror flick, that does have twist and turns all thoughout the flick. Its slow at first, but it does get intresting in the middle and end. Emily Blunt is really good in this film.
The plot: Just before their university campus goes quiet for the winter break, a young woman (Emily Blunt) asks a classmate (Ashton Holmes) for a lift home. The two students set off on their trip and begin to get to know each other. But, when a reckless motorist drives them off the road, they find themselves stranded in the snow on a remote highway. As the night grows colder, the two are confronted by a horde of menacing apparitions -- and struggle to escape with their lives.
Its a good movie.
