Not everything is black and white
I have no words.

I've been waiting for this book since discovering the Devil's Night series a few months ago, and I latched onto Damon from the moment he hit the pages. Michael was fascinating, Kai was sweet, Will has demons, but Damon... What can I say? I clearly have issues. I always want the baddest bad of them all.

This book is a roller coaster of emotion. Frustration, bafflement, devastation, annoyance - yes all those emotions come with the actions of Damon. There are moments when you just want to throttle him, and yet...

And yet ....

I'm not going to post spoilers. If you've read Corrupt and Hideaway, you'll go into this book thinking how can someone so evil be redeemed.

This book is EVERYTHING it needs to be.

I'm nursing a book hangover and I'm not entirely sure there's a cure for this one.

This is definitely a book that you will not put down! The author has done her extensive research and has brought fiction and history together in an incredible novel. Jody Hedlund has a knack for developing the characters so that you can truly interact with them and feel the emotions and the empathy, that these agents must have felt. As the reader, I felt that I really bonded with the characters, I felt love for little Jethro and wanted to ease the fear of the other children. The author makes the reader feel as if they are a part of the story. This storyline also has a theme of love, forgiveness, restoration and letting the past go and being free to move on to the future. A truly enjoyable book!

This story was full of laughter, fun, romance, anticipation and mystery. It's a novel that everyone will enjoy.

I rate this one 5 stars.

So far, so very good!
So far, we (my wife and i) are about to finish Season 3. We have been semi-binge-watching for about a month, but with the episodes only being 20 minutes, its refreshingly easy to get a few episodes in each night, which really helps to keep the laughs!

The characters are great, if (slightly) lacking development - although Peralta is still the wisecracking clown in S3, he has matured just a tiny bit. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but some slightly bigger changes would be good - yes Diaz is able to express some emotions, briefly; Holt is more human etc and they feel organic, but sometimes it is a bit forced.

I have really enjoyed the show, so far, and I look forward to seeing any further development - or not! - for the remaining episodes.

Well worth a watch, as a bit of lightweight humour

Golden Son takes place more than a year after Red Rising. Darrow has left the Academy, formed bonds with new people and has a new role in society. It was a little confusing to be thrown into the story with all those new elements because it made me feel like I had missed a book. I had to keep piecing together what happened and who these new characters were. Once it became more natural, the book was much more enjoyable to read.

The second book has just as much (if not more) deception, death, and destruction as the first, and that’s saying something. It is full of action, betrayal, hope, and horror that leaves you on the edge of your seat and tears your emotions apart as you read the final pages – you just need to immediately start the finale. Highly recommended, but read Red Rising prior to this as it would make absolutely no sense without it.

There a tronato that goes though their community but find out what is important. We find out that Calvin and Lucy are expecting their first baby. Mattie is struggling with her emotions and where she get past about her best friend Graham Weaver as more then a friend. Graham is also trying to figure out his feeling for Mattie. There a rumor going around saying Jenna Yoder is carrying Graham Weavers child. We are introduced to several new characters in this story and series.

This was a fun filled and stress reading this story. Though I wished there was a better way to finish it about Lucy and Calvin and How Jenna and Chis his family made it out of the tornado? I I know that John married Mary. We Know that All the Weavers made it out of Tornado safe and sound though I would have like to know about Calvin and Lucy baby?

The Best Batman Joker movie yet
Bruce Wyane (Keaton) is a billionaire with a dark past on how his parents were killed. His motivation is life has become to never see crime like this happen in Gotham city again and becomes the crime fighter known as Batman. Jack Napier (Nicholson) is a life long criminal who gets dropped into a vat of chemicals and becomes the maniacal criminal villain known as Joker. Vicki Vale (Bassinger) is a reporter who wants to find out out more about the bat and becomes Bruce's love interest but, also strikes the fancy of the Joker. Who will Gotham and the girl belong to when it's all done?

The best Batman movie in my opinion. Keaton gives a great portrayal of Bruce/Batman and Nicholson as the Joker gives us the right emotions that he deserves. Bassinger is also very good as the love intrest. All in all a great watch

So many mixed reviews
I surround myself with mental health communities as I suffer myself and have seen so many mixed reviews for this show. But having had depression throughout my school years I think this was a raw and real problem with school kids these days. I think so much more awareness has come from this programme and it shows that things that could seem so small to others can have a huge impact on the people around us. I don't think it glorifies suicide as a lot of people have mentioned, it shows how real and how easily something can hurt somebody without anyone else knowing. The end episode, for me, was a huge trigger and I think a warning should have been put on that. I know that has changed for season 2 though.
I enjoyed watching this, it was hard to watch, raw and I went through so many emotions.

This tv show is one of the best I've ever seen. It keeps me on my toes always keeps me guessing. My emotions are everywhere in a good way though. It has very strong family values throughout the entire season. They deal with good and bad. They are put to the test constantly. Every supernatural thing you can think of is in it including regular people. They go through many trials weather its personally or friends or the supernatural things. The world is is literally on there shoulders and they have to at times save the world from impending doom. I highly recommend the supernatural series.

I enjoyed this novel, it is set from the vantage point of Jack, a five year old boy who is being kept prisoner with his mum in a garden shed which her kidnapper has converted into a special soundproof 'room'. Jack was born there, so his mother's frustrations on their situation goes over his innocent little head until around halfway through the book when he realises that Old Nick is a bad person. Still, he doesn't understand why. He has a very cute way of anthropomorphising his surroundings, his Rug, and Meltedy Spoon take on characteristics of their own. The only thing that let this book down is that it is sometimes hard for the reader to imagine it is actually a little boy speaking, as some complex feelings and emotions are expressed which are hard to imagine would be understood by a child. I guess though, that an adult writing as a child must be hard so the author must be given some leeway.
