A very interesting read!
A more unique story topic I am not sure ive read before. The author did a great job of explaining the emotions and actions of the characters, I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend it if you want a unique story to read. 4 out of 5 stars for originality, great character building, and the mystery.
I volunteered to read this book from Barbour Publishing in return for my honest feedback. The thoughts and opinions expressed with in are my own.

Even though the initial (UK) publication date of this book was pushed off to July, I couldn't wait to post my #bookreview of this lovely novel by one of my favorite authors. Once again, Joyce has given us characters who would not want you to love them, but you surely will despite them! Combine that with an adventure of discovery in New Caledonia and you've got a roller-coaster of a ride of emotions in store for you!

3.5 stars
I liked the idea behind the story but it didn't quite have the emotion in it that I like for my mm romances. I didn't get pulled into the story and feel the characters emotions myself.
It was definitely something different with the president falling for a Secret Service agent and I really did like that about it. It has some prominent political moments and some good action scenes but I'm not sure if I've been drawn into the series enough to continue it.

Kristina (502 KP) rated The Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy (Summer, #1-3) in Books

I loved both The Summer I Turned Pretty and It's Not Summer Without You. I'm not saying I didn't like We'll Always Have Summer, but there were some inconsistencies and typos. The story, as a whole, though, was great. I felt like a fish out of water as I watched Belly flip-flop with her emotions. There were times when I wanted to scream at her, there were times when I wanted to cry with her. It was fun experiencing the love story unfold!

Blazing Minds (92 KP) rated Supernova (2020) in Movies
Oct 29, 2021 (Updated Nov 2, 2021)
Writer and Director Harry Mcqueen has brought us a wonderful film that is not only a delight to watch it is also one that has you thinking about the signs of dementia and how you would cope if your loved one was going through the same.
SUPERNOVA, starring Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci and directed by Harry Macqueen and is certainly worth checking out in the cinema, it’s one of those short and powerful dramas that will touch your emotions right from the start.
