Very much enjoyed this book. I’m not a big gamer and nor was I alive in the 80s but I was still able to get a lot of the references and Cline did a great job of explaining everything. The story got me hooked from the beginning. This world, inside and outside the OASIS, was very interesting and highly developed, so it was very easy to imagine. It was all just a big puzzle and it was fun to go through it. I do wish there had been a little more at the end other than the contest just ending. Overall great read.

Feature-length movie set in the D&D universe, this is much better than the 2000 travesty, with Chris Pine this time taking the lead, alongside Michelle Ridriguez and Hugh Grant and is set in the 'Forgotten Realms' campaign setting, with Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter both getting name-dropped.

(I must admit that, as large parts of it were filmed in my home of Northern Ireland, I did spend quite a bit of time playing 'spot the location').

It also has a refreshing low-stakes feel about it (there's no real 'end of the world' disaster to be averted), and I did also feel that it had elements of Monty Python around it (particularly in the talking to the dead graveyard bit)

[Until We End] is a post-apocalyptic novel that takes a sinister twist. As people all over the world die from a strange disease Cora and Coby hide at home as their dad told them. They believe they may be the only ones left but they were wrong.

[Frankie Brown] adds to the ever popular genre of YA post-apocalyptic fiction. Unlike others I feel you can never have too much of a good thing and this genre has always been a favorite. Keep them coming.

After the Dark: A Movie Review
Philosophy in a movie. Actually.

This entire movie is based around the final day in a philosophy and what they would do if only half of them could go into a bunker at the end of the world and how they would chose who would go, and what would happen after.

I loved this movie. I watched with a friend and we had a lot of discussions.

Also, Ginny from Harry Potter was in this movie.

If y;all would like a more indepth review, let me know and I can update this!
