Thankfully, nothing like the film. I Am Legend is a really different look at the end of the world, vampire apocalypse angle. Very short book, slow in parts but overall worth the read. Loved the development of the characters and the unusual plot.

"Very early Stanley Kubrick, the true hard-core grit of World War I. Down in the trenches with one of my favorite performances by Kirk Douglas. The beautiful blonde woman, who sings away the pain for a bunch of soldiers at the end of the film, would soon after become Mrs. Kubrick."

Far from Noise - Launch Trailer | PS4

The sun is setting behind the horizon and night will soon fall. With no immediate means of escape, perhaps all that’s left is to attempt to feel some connection with the world at the end of it all.

From blockbuster horrors, open-world behemoths and a host of indie darlings, we have had a job even keeping up with the slew of quality and invention.

[Station Eleven] is a literary tale of the end of civilization. Unlike most of the novels about the post apocalyptic world [Emily St. John Mandel] weaves a story built of relationships. It would compare to a futuristic [Canterbury Tales] as it tells the tales of the survivors in this one band and their journey.

This is a slow burn romance set after the end of the world. The way the two main characters meet and how their relationship develops makes this a different spin on the typical dystopian novel. This will appeal to both fans of post apocalyptic and lesbian fiction.

Out of this world
What a movie there are plenty of good songs which I was tempted to sing along and many likeable characters like buster moon and others why I hadn't seen the first movie before the sequel maybe I should check it sometime but what sold the movie for me was out of this world the big stage musical at the end
