Interesting story with supernatural elements
Follows several families in a small German town, as you get further in you see that three generations of each family have been/are involved.
Subtitles or dubbed english (1 more)
That end of the last episode made it seem like next season would be even more far fetched and maybe not in a good way.
Interesting story that follows three generations of several families in a small German town. It’s definitely a show you’ll have to pay attention to or you’ll get lost. My only concern is the end of the last episode, seems like it might be headed in the direction of a bad syfy movie. Just have to wait and see.

Hey everyone. I know I have been bombarding this site with book reviews. I am a professional book reviewer and write for a national newspaper (under my other name). I do believe, however, in paying it forward, so these are some of my many reviews. I graduated from University last year with a BA Hons First class in English Literature, so as you might guess, I love books. I am now at the tail end of a post graduate course in Creative Writing and just started my dissertation. This site is a nice distraction and a great way to procrastinate, I would love to hear from like minded book people. I love memoir and am in the process of writing my own.

im also headed to school for creative writing and have written 3 books, none published because i'm to freaked out to let another person read them, they are memories of my life and i'm not ready to take that step yet. Im probably going to do the same as you, write a ton of books reviews because i'm obsessed with them LOL

A poor version of Snatch
I’m really not sure what the point was in this film. It’s one of those films that’s not great but not bad either, and completely unremarkable and forgettable. I love Sam Rockwell and I think he’s a rather underrated actor in most things, and sadly he’s pretty underused in this. And I know this has probably been done on purpose, but the over the top English accents in this are so irritating! This reminded me very much of a poor version and imitation of Snatch, it played out fairly similarly but without any real laughs or the decent storyline. This film is pretty inoffensive (unless you’re offended by a lot of swear words) but sadly just not very memorable.

A Gem of a porno
I avoided this podcast for a while because I didn't understand that it was a comedy, but once I took the plunge (thinking it would be actual erotica), I have not stopped forcing this podcast down the throats of others, and I've converted every single one. If you, like me, get fatigued with the darkness and tragedy in the world, you need porno day (Mondays) in your life. It's a great way to start off your week with some genuine belly laughs.

A really powerful drama! Not something I would pick up on my own accord but something I had to read for my English A-Level and after reading Pride & Prejudice I really was not looking forward to this. I was pleasantly surprised, however, at how much I really did enjoy this.

Both main characters are interesting in their own way, with Blanche being the over the top Sourthern-belle falling into an uncontrollable madness spurred on my her ageing and sisters working class, brash husband, Stanley. Stanley is an uncontrollable animal of a man, he knows what he wants and how to get it.

I love both the film and the drama of this tale and I'm glad I got the chance to study it.

The Transporter (2002)
The Transporter (2002)
2002 | Action, Thriller
Uproariously silly action movie which launched Jason Statham's career as a leading man in this sort of thing. Brilliant fights and chase sequences are strung together by some frankly very suspect dialogue scenes, comprising a rather hackneyed plot. No-one involved appears to be acting in their first language, which is a bit bemusing considering Jason Statham is English and Matt Schulze is an American.

This is on one level a terrible pile of nonsense, but also superbly entertaining as an unintentional comedy and a genuinely proficient action film. If you're playing the Transporter drinking game, award yourself an extra swig every time the logo of a well-known beer named after a snake appears, as they appear to have sponsored the production quite extensively.
