not enough for me
Independent reviewer for Archaeolibrarian, I was gifted my copy of this book
Ten maids to Master Marius tell their story, identified only by the job and the colour of their underwear.
This was an easy read, erotic flash fiction, 49 pages. It didn't do very much for me, though, and I found 9 stories almost identical. The tenth is different in the the Maid is in control, rather than Marius but there was still the reference to her colour underwear, and what she felt about the other maids.
It was reasonably well written, and delivers what it claims to be: short erotic fiction.
It just wasn't ENOUGH for me, but I did finish it.

I had high hopes for this book although the cover almost turned me off. The blurb made it seem like a quirky type of romance but it was very repetitive and contrived. This could have gone somuch better if the book didn't seem to have an identity crisis between being a cute romance and an erotic novel.

ArecRain (8 KP) rated Hunted: An Erotic Retelling of Beauty and the Beast (Hunted by the Beast, #1-5) in Books

I ended up having a love-hate relationship with this novel that leaned more towards hate than love. I was excited for this story because the story of the Beauty and the Beast is one of my all time favorite fairytales, and I love erotic fairytales. However, the story was off-putting from the very beginning.
I am very much against slut-shaming, but Danya was obnoxious. Even as someone who enjoys sex, I found her character unbelievable, unrelatable, and extremely childish. I thought she made poor decisions and her sex drive bordered on ridiculous. I couldn't force myself to like her, or her sister for that matter who fell in love after being ravaged by a man she didn't even know.
This story had a lot of potential, but somewhere early in the beginning, the train jumped the track and never seemed to get back on. I almost did not finish it. I reached the sex scene where the Beast was shoving Danya's chest onto a steak she was eating as he took her savagely from behind and just had to set the book down. I could not even pretend to find this erotic. Most of the erotic scenes were not horrible, some were actually very steamy, but some reached a point of absurd.
I did pick it back up at a later date to finish it. It never became any better, but it also did not get worse. What I did appreciate about this book was the author's courage to write erotic scenes that differed from the cliche and overused mainstream formula you can find in pretty much any novel you pick up.

From the moment you start to read this well written story you find yourself becoming captivated and eager to turn the pages. The story line seems so real that you just cannot stop yourself from falling head over heels with it all. This is truly a thrilling, sensual and erotic read and trust me; you won't want to put it down!!

An erotic ride....
Two for Tuesday is an erotic, very sensual story. Not only does it draw you into a heady sexual relationship but it highlights the differences between different social backgrounds.....Mel being a more country girl and Marcus being from the city.
Colour is only really referred to once or so, the cheeky stereotype.....which Mel clears up by saying she's gone back and forth over that line haha.
I like both characters, though Marcus was a tad needy, but it didn't make it any less enjoyable......just more realistic.
Bit of a spoiler......it gives hope that things can happen/get back on track after years apart. Also that sexual chemistry can't always be worn out!!
Definitely an adult only read.....to be read alone as it gets pretty hot and very detailed!

Still a mess
I'm not sure what to make of this? It's not a romantic film, neither erotic despite the content and not dramatic. None of the actions of the Characters really make a lot of sense. Despite watching the extended cut of the film it really just feels like a mish mash of story lines that never really come to anything? Strange one.
