Extra for those who love Rhys and Feyre
I dwelled in these more settled and happy times for Feyre and Rhysand and it was pleasant to witness. I lived for the expansion on Azriel, Cassian, Nesta, Elain and even Tamlin. I want more of those ‘Illyrian babies’, so much more.

It did lack a bit of excitement but then, you can’t have everything if you’re getting the settled, happy times. It does make me long for the next in the series, however and I’ll never be ready to be done with Fey-sand.

Not Enough Game
I really wanted to like Exploding Kittens. I Kickstartered the original. I bought the expansion hoping things would be better. Sadly, under the theme and the cute funny art, there really isn't much of a game here. Now it sits under other things in my small games closet and the large box for the expansion gets in the way when I am moving things around.

When people come over to play games, this is one of the games they always pull out wanting to try and this is always one of the games I try very hard to persuade them to put back into the dark corner of the gaming closet. When I first played it I though the art was nice and the theme was fun and I hoped I had missed something about the gameplay. But over time, as more people pull it out of the game closet and I am unable to persuade them otherwise I realize that there is very little here at all to make this game re-playable unless you are totally blind drunk - which I guess may be the point.

Hey - at least I don't have to wear rubber crab claws for this one.

I think I have played this game more than any other in my lifetime. You get to play as any of your favorite troops including rebels, Imperials, even Gungans and Wookies and build up your encampment before attacking others. A lot of resource gathering can be a bit tedious, but doesn't take away from the fun.
Came out relatively soon after Starcraft, so it feel a lot like that.
Had a subsequent expansion pack, The CLone Campaigns, which was released before Episode II in 2002.

A good game made better with expansions (which I'll review later). The base game is a solid deckbuilder with an awesome twist of a set number of cards in your deck, but you can improve them. There is a interesting press your luck mechanic that lets you know your deck inside and out to help. At two players the game feels a little short. The game ends as the engines really start going. It also does need an expansion to keep it fresh as the base game almost feels a bit limited. With expansions though the game really comes into its own.

Incredible balanced, semi puzzle, with competitive aspects, and lots of economic and point scoring strategy.
I love this game, it's so much fun to play, and even has a one player version, my wife and I sometimes play separately and send each other pictures of the final blueprints. it's fun to imagine them actually existing with a bowling alley next to a kitchen and a garden a few feet from a torture chamber. The expansion adds some more fun with new rooms and secret passages.

Very simple game about Gardeners and Pandas
It's a pretty little game, simple and easy to learn and teach. I personally wish it could play with more players. this game has the depth of a deeper party game. I've not yet tried the expansion. That said the components are wonderful. My only complaints are that it's easier to get some card completed than others and the points awarded don't reflect how easy some are to do. Plus it's luck based with the dice rolls to get done hat you want to do sometimes.

Really engrossing game (3 more)
Always really strategic
Easy to play
Really funny conversations

Can get very heated
A great classic game about building settlements and roads. The game always leaves you guessing on what the others are trying to do, and with different people can be very varied. It is amazing with the seafarers expansion, which balances the game a bit more especially in cases where players get really lucky in the beginning and end up with a monopoly of a resource. Bargaining and trading is key in this game and can cause a few funny exchanges,

Expensive expansions
The first few times I played this game, I thought it was the best thing ever. However, after a few more times, I found myself laughing less and less because I've 'heard it all before'. I recently played with an expansion pack though which picked it up a notch again. If you are willing to keep your deck updated with the expansions then this is a good investment as it's a great game to play with large groups.

The return of Shards was very welcome. Adds a new dimension of tactics to the game. (3 more)
Into the Cosmos has some cool schemes and Masterminds, Magus being our favorite.
Some of the best Villains ever, especially the Celestials. This expansion is almost worth getting for these alone.
A couple of cool heroes which makes use of the Shards in a new way.
Some of the new mechanics are fiddly and quite frankly boring. (1 more)
The Shard tokens are not the best quality, but that is easily remedied by using something else.

I would like to start by saying that I am probably too old to be playing this game anyway, however the Sims is a part of my childhood that I am not willing to give up just yet.
I was very excited for this to get released as I have 2 dogs (real life ones) and what more could you want than to have virtual ones too. I was looking forward to finally completing my virtual family and making it as close to my real one as possible.
I think this game would be great if you hadn't already played Sims 3 Pets. In this version you can't controll your pet, you can interact with them in a way that you can train them to do things, however you cannot use them as you would any other member of the family. This makes it hard to see their needs and therefore makes having a pet a bit of a chore.
This expansion pack does have many great additions, like a new neighbourhood and new decorations and clothes etc. which do add to the game and make it more interesting.
Overall, I think if you are new to the Sims and have come in at The Sims 4, this expansion pack is great. However if you have played previous versions it can be quite disappointing.
