Not what I expected
I was recommended this book by a friend as I enjoyed Jane Eyre. Was not sure what I was expecting when I started this but I have to say I was disappointed. Whereas the premis was good and it was an interesting thought to explore 'Mrs Rochester' the bok was far too short and I felt what could have been a great exploration of a character fell way short. The narrative was all over the place using first and third perspectives. Worth a read if you want something quick to pass the time.

Ella Minnow Pea by Mark Dunn is a hilariously quirky exploration of free speech, and what happens when it gets taken away. Full of whimsy and guaranteed to make you smile! I enjoyed this book so much, that I tend to re-read it every now and again - just to renew my appreciation for letters and words.

It's a quick and fun read, won't take you much time at all, but be ready for tongue twisting silliness that increases in hilarity as the book goes on. A must-read for any lover of the English language.

I quite hated the ending of Enterprise. Trip was one of my favorite characters, and his sudden death under odd circumstances annoyed me. I'm so grateful to have found this book, bring Trip back for me. Though I don't like his new life of secrecy, he is at least still alive. I liked the exploration in the bonds between Trip and T'pol, and Shran and Jhamel, and the overall history cover up of Trip's death that Nog and Jake discovered. It did reminisce "These are the voyages..." a bit with Jake and Nog, but I thought it was a clever transition.
