I really enjoyed this book. It's not the best written ever and some f it annoyed me but honestly the plot and characters were fun and pretty simple..I liked the whole Eli thing and the twists were very cool...can't wait to read the next one

An amazingly enlightening read... often darkly funny, often shocking and a lot of HOW THE F*CK IS THIS DUDE STILL ALIVE??? I actually picked up this book after hearing the album to see the inspiration, and it's definitely given more insight. WELL worth a read.

"Mother and Child by Rodrigo García, because he’s really incredible about dealing with human relationships and he’s not afraid to go as dark as you need. He’s one of my favorite directors of all time, and I think he can write for a woman almost better than he can for a man. (laughs) And he’s a straight man. His father is actually Gabriel Garcia Marquez. He’s got just a nice touch with women and the performances are outstanding. Annette Bening and Naomi Watts and Britt [Brittany] Robertson, just f***ing everybody in that movie is… oh, it’s just f***ing one of the most beautiful, flawless films I’ve ever seen."

At the end of this movie, I thought to myself, what the f*** did I just watch? It was goofy, but entertaining. I liked the stunts as well. I understood why they changed the animus because, why would watching someone in a chair-like animus be remotely interesting?

Many books that I've read talk about John F. Kennedy's book, so I just had to read it. I have to say it's well worth the time to read. And he's right compromise is a valuable tool when working with others. We can't always get what we want.

"Let me choose a comedy. Let me choose Blazing Saddles, because I just thought, at the time when that came out, it was just so ahead of its time. I mean, you couldn’t get away with that now. There’s no f—ing way you could get away with it."

"“Terry, I f–ked my boss.” That line defines this relationship. She’s supposed to be the “together” one. Maybe she’s not. This movie was a huge influence on me. The inherent sadness and comedy of two siblings forced together to get their crappy lives on track. So good."

I just finished "A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald" and found the book to be okay. A friend of mine had read the book first, and then when I found out that there was a Prime television show based off of the novel, I wanted to read it. Even though the book is based off of real people, it is a work of fiction. Since the book is about F. Scott's wife Zelda, this is written from her viewpoint and there are times where you really feel badly for F. Scott's treatment of his wife. They were originally married and had a great life ahead of them, however, due to F. Scott's mismanagement of money, alcohol and Zelda does tear at your heartstrings.

What really got to me was when Zelda was put into various psychiatric hospitals and according to the Afterward was misdiagnosed and given treatments that were not necessary. What also really got to me was that Zelda had dreams and aspirations but was pigeonholed to be a wife and mother (as a result of the time period), but that's actually what made me the most upset. When she actually got to write something, it was published first under F. Scott's name and then had a shared byline. The one time that Zelda's named appeared by itself, the works were not successful.

I am now excited to watch the Prime show to see how this book is translates to television.
