The second book in the Hollow City Coven series continues where Book 1 left off. Gillian and Shayne are together, sort of, as they travel to try and find more information about Tenebris. Gillian has a starting point, but the Midnight Market is not for the faint of heart.

With an FF kiss, and some steamy action from Gillian and Shayne, this book continues to be hot and steamy. However, this instalment is also mysterious and suspenseful. It also comes complete with an ending that leaves you wanting the next book in this series immediately.

For everything that you do, there is a price to pay. Is Gillian's price for going to the Midnight Market going to be too high? I certainly hope not but I am looking forward to Book 3 to find out. Definitely recommended.

Guardian (Collectors Division book 1)
By Lexie Winston

Joining the Collectors Division was my only goal once the orphanage washed their hands of me at the age of twelve.
Unruly and quick to anger, I was taken in by an academy instructor until I was old enough to attend myself. With love and understanding I thrived, and it became my mission to be the best Guardian the Collectors Division had ever seen. I couldn’t
wait to run the Gauntlet and join a team.

Little did I know what fate had in store for me.

Guardian is a reverse harem novel and contains MM and FF. Not recommended for those under 18

First I want to say I read the Authors not and NOT the Snowflake edition! That made me laugh so I kinda knew I was going to like this writer! She writes aggressively but so well i really enjoyed this book! Lexie Winston is a new author for me and I can’t wait to read more!
Although I will say once I read the whole book I went back and read the snowflake more and laughed so much! Brilliant attitude you should be so proud of the work you produced!

EIRA is a standalone novella giving The Snow Queen a FF fairytale retelling.

The descriptions of the national park, the weather, the hut, all those sorts of things were absolutely brilliant. I could see them so clearly in my mind as I read, which is always a good thing.

What I didn't like so much were the main characters themselves, which kinda makes it awkward! I didn't really feel any connection between them, not helped by the long periods of time that slipped them both by without them being in contact.

The other thing was when Kay had been told about the curse. She goes to the library and searches out information on Gwyn, finding out she was a historical figure who just disappeared. Then she makes a connection to fairy tales and decides - with no real proof, just a hunch - that Gwyn is The Snow Queen and she knows how to save her. I love fantasy and paranormal but even I found this to be a stretch of the imagination.

Overall, this was a nice coffee break book that I enjoyed but it is a one-and-done for me.
