My wish came true! Mongrel is now the first book in the Outcast Mates series, with CHANGELING being the second. You have no idea how happy this made me!!!

AND we get to hear a little snapshot of Andras and Bowie, as well as hearing how Bettina is getting on with Erzsébet. I loved Andras and Bowie, and I love Sebastian and Dominus just as much.

So, quick recap, Sebastian thought he was human but was actually fae. Dominus is an incubus, cursed by the fae. So should be easy, right? Of course not!

Sebastian is floundering in this unknown world but is travelling to somewhere he has been told he will be made to feel welcome, for the small payment of some of his blood. During his travels, he is taken to Dominus' brothel where the attraction is instant. All that changes though once Dominus realises he is fae. What follows is another slow-burn romance that is both sweet and steamy. The relationship develops between Seb and Dom over time. Yes, there is insta-lust, but that isn't everything!

I am so happy Ms Colgin returned to this world. Not only are the characters delightful and loveable, but the world-building is second to none. I love the history side of things and the way she develops the story. No 'wham, bam, thank you, ma'am' here!

I adored Dominus when we met him in Mongrel but I wasn't sure I'd like him as much as Andras and Bowie. Well, I do. Simple as that. But who next? I want Leonas, Ivaz, Sachi, and Annais... do I need to continue? I could return to this world every day and be happy. That is how brilliant it is.

So, that being said, do I recommend it? Ah, go on then. If I must... 😆 Seriously though, read Mongrel and then read Changeling. They're both fantastic and I can't wait for more!!!

THE FAE'S PROMISE is the fifth book in the Grym Hollow series, and the first one that has a throuple!

Evangeline is the last resident of Grym Hollow to approach the Guardian. Her parents have both died, and she wants to see more of the world than she would by staying where she grew up. Signing the contract with the Guardian means she will see another world... literally!

Niko, an earth fae, is the one she will marry. He is also married to Zephyr, an ice fae, who is happy to accept a human into their lives but, for his own reasons, doesn't want to be tied to her as well. Having more than one partner is completely normal for the fae, although it comes as a shock to Evangeline.

The faes' kingdom is under attack by the Nephilim, the land cursed so no crops will grow, the food rots, and they are slowly starving to death. There is a way to break the curse, of course, and it involves Evangeline.

This was such a great read!!! Finnick is one of my favourite characters, the small sprite with the big personality. But honestly, there wasn't a character I didn't like - out of the good guys, that is. The overall story arc is moving along nicely, building up tension, and raising questions that I can't wait to have answered. The relationship between our main three builds nicely, too. Yes, it's fast, but that is almost expected by now. I loved how they grew together, even if Zephyr was reluctant! And can I just say, his reasons were heartbreaking.

Another fantastic book in this series. There is just one more to go, and I honestly can't wait for! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book, and the series so far. They are all brilliant.

Oh, and if the cover gives you Tiana vibes, just wait until you read the inside. One of my favourite Disney films certainly grew up!

Lexi won't stop until she finds the Red Eye that killed her friend but in her search she comes to the attention of not only the Red Eyed, evil Dark Fae but also bad boy Dragon King, Thorn.
When the Dark Fea realise she is immune to their powers they know she is a Dragon King mate and to catch a dragon they must trap Lexi.

I don't read much fantasy but I do love this series. The Dragon Kings are brave and sexy and will do anything to protect their mate while also protecting their secret from the Humans.
I do love Donna Grants writing, she makes her books easy to read and difficult to put down.
